I remember staying up as a 12 year old to watch these test matches, test footy is the best footy, the pinnacle, extremely thankful it's coming back this year! up the kangaroos! 💚💛
Oh. O!!! I’d forgotten how this ended, and it was heartbreaking all over again! Fantastic game, thoroughly enjoyed watching again, all these years later. Thanks Shaun.
@M rugby league is the greatest sport on Earth with over 4 Billion fans and massively popular in over 240 countries including dependencies. soccer/football is only popular in 4 countries. Its a minority sport in the UK, France etc. rugby league will always be the number 1 sport in Australia
On the last play, Lockyer gets tackled then gets up and manages to catch up with the play 20m downfield and throws the winning pass to win the series 3-0.
Lockyer was such a wonderful player, he really had it all. He stepped-up and made those last 2 tries, firstly picking his moment to drift off Wing then time the pass perfectly to release De Vere, then twice being involved in that sensational winning try. His initial break, hits the deck, then hurtles forward and diving releases Ricketson for the dot down. All done in a flash at the end of 80 brutal minutes. Michael Jordan-esque. Brave from GB but as usual simply not good enough. Being 'brave' doesn't win you anything but the glaring lack of creativity and mental fortitude will see you lose!

Commentators are talking about teams hanging on in the last ten minutes, up your jumper time and don’t make any mistakes! Have they really never seen a State of Origin game? The last ten minutes is when everything happens! Nobody talks about hanging on… it’s time to win the game!
the ref...."terry, dont swing the arm, Terry please dont attack the head, Terry please dont punch, thats it i will penalize you if you do it again, Terry, Im warning you" it was open season on the Australian players
Great Britain defeated Australia 3-0 in an Ashes series in: 1933-34 (Kangaroo Tour) and 1948 (Lions Tour). Great Britain (as Northern Union) also won 2-0 in 1908-09 (Kangaroo Tour - 1 draw) and 1910 (Lions Tour). In 1933-34 the home team were only known as The Lions and not as either Great Britain, Northern Union or England. Australia defeated Great Britain 3-0 in an Ashes series in: 1979 (Lions Tour), 1982 (Kangaroo Tour), 1984 (Lions Tour), 1986 (Kangaroo Tour) and 2003 (Kangaroo Tour). Australasia (including a couple of Kiwis) won 2-0 (1 draw) on the 1911-12 Kangaroo Tour.
Brett Kenny should of been an immortal before that clown johns, couldn’t care what anyone says. Wally was the greatest but Kenny wasn’t to far behind him
Here's why (despite 2 losses,) I still back the *A.B'z* to make the *Final 23 W.C..* Just like the *Roos* over the years, the *A.B'z* too have the *Firepower and speed* to *steal a game* in the dying minutes! ☝🏾🇳🇿
I wasnt going to post any more but I cant help it , the referee is abysmally biased and the commetators .wow....well what can you say...but at least for posterity it is here for all to see and hear! Just not good thats all.
went down like a sack of spuds. Love the pomy commentary. WE have so much in common (North Englishmen) There are so many in England that have never heard of League. Union was very successful in Treating Rugby League as a Virus that must be stopped. Apartheid, Nazi tactics employed. I was going for GB, and I don't think I was the only ozzy. Love of the underdog trumps it. Unlucky, it would have been a great shot in the arm for them. Those Englishmen will not be forgotten.
Man the English were tough. I think sam burgess was the last of that mould for the English 🏴 well Great Britain 🇬🇧 as it was called in those days. The kangaroos 🦘 always were a class above everyone else. It seems everyone has caught up a bit. Up the kiwis tho😉 thanks for the upload Shaun
Awesome work Sean, thanks for the uploads. I really don't know how Australia won any games in England, it boggles the mind how biased the ref's can be and not get fired.
The last time GB/England have won a series was 1972. In 1982 when State of Origin went to three games Australia effectively had a selection process harder than test matches.
72 in Oz but its been much longer in England... 1950s some time the last series win was so most adults at that series would be in their 90s which means most Brits have never seen a series win. Just on State of Origin... which I glad Britain doesn't play... the Aussie players mostly play in Sydney and losing a state series is like torturous misery for an entire season. Whereas losing to the British would not be as bad. In short it produces far more inspired contests than even the tests!
@@tobinsarttrading1733 Is just wild that I was six or seven when GB/England last beat Australia in general. Plus I’m yet to see a series win in my lifetime. Like what had caused all of this??
Eddie Hemmings and Mike Stephenson should make an appointment with their favourite proctologist and get some soothing ointment. Mike ease the pain of loosing.
Robbie Kearns has more , Guts than So call men , that attacked his Head of A another man , He put his head over ball And took as 1 st returner in both test , I Have always hated so call team players THAT let there team down by getting sent Of ( Morley ) and Newton PSS If I Spelled there names wrong That how much I respect them , I ,could Not careless REGARDS Always ball player Mark
The British were off side every time the Australians played the ball...constant head high s...running behind players, laying on players... ALL ignored by an incompetent biased referee.
strewth mate bloody oath, keep away from your sister ad sheep. pass that banjo, more one eyed than nelson. you got a huge chip on your shoulder all over every single video with your one eye.
Which year was it? It was a test in Great Britain where Australia came out and blitzed them in the first half. It was 0-40 with Jonathan Thurston playing for Australia. If someone knows please reply 😃

in 1993 Gordon Tallis , Mark Carrol and many more better than Adrian Morley were out there for Australia, no Australian would ever have thought in their wildest dream that Adrian Moreley was the best....the refereeing in this game was rotten, not even up to the low standards of the English......example.....giving Radlinski that try!
The referee was PISS poor! After allthese years, does his family look back with pride? I think not, his bias showed and his handling of this game was just lousy,
being an Aussie i feel sorry for the great effort Great Britain played the game, hope they held there heads high. what a great game, must have been heart breaking for the whole team
Funny how these English commentators whinged about getting one of their own refs and they did then he turned a blind eye to everything 🤣 players that should have been sent off he didn't do it
