Sound Concept Nanuet now has a prefabricated dash board kit for the earlier SL500 Mercedes Benz coupe. This is the dash with the simulated wood going around the radio. The newer SL500, SL550 and SL600 has a dark plastic surrounding the radio and is a different kit. The system incorporates Bluetooth audio, cellular calls, full steering wheel controls, backup camera and amplifier to replace the OEM Bose. Thank you for watching and contact me with any questions.

How much would be a reasonable price for someone to do an installation with OEM Amp Boss system already in it? Is there a price range you could provide me that would give me an idea of what a fair price would be to accept?

Depending on the the radio, you can expect to spend $1,500 to $2,500. The price can include a CarPlay radio, amplifier, custom fit double DIN dash kit, steering wheel controller, backup camera, rewiring and installation. Professional installation is recommended. The OEM Bose amplifier needs to be disconnected.

Green/ Pink wire, Rear SAM Module, 32 pin plug (C4), pin 24. It's the module with the fuses and relays in it

Hi, I am about to do this for my 2003 SL500. Is there any reason you installed a new amp instead of an "Optical Fiber Decoder Box" ? I thought asking an expert might be helpful :)

There is no decoder for MOST 20.

I have not found a reliable fiber optic interface for that year.
