A constructive suggestion: For consistency, would you consider making the font size larger on some of your charts/tables? I think you could do this without the possible negative effect of adding more pages. It seems like the font is fine on many documents, but it's much smaller in the instructions you showed (@ 9:50 and 12:10) and the chart you showed at 35:30, as well as some fields on the Ground Ball Chart (@ 31:20). I do like the amount of detail you've put into this game and the price is very cheap. As a full-season replayer, the ability to have cards for every player is important to me. I understand why printed versions of games omit players for cost purposes. Since this is a .pdf game, it may be easier to have every player. It sounds like most are included now, but perhaps not all. For me personally, I would pay a few more dollars to get every player available, or even have an option to purchase fringe players not included in the base set. Good luck to you; it's evident that you have put a lot of thought and consideration into this game. I already have 2003 and 2023 sets in other games, but I will keep an eye out as you continue to add more seasons in between.
Thanks for the suggestion on font sizes. Things can be bumped up some on a few of the charts. Some might be more of a challenge. The cards I've intentionally made about as large as they can be for the layout. I've included more players in the 2003 set, including players who never batted but got into the field. The hard part is that there is a blank card there so the only way to use the player as a hitter is to roll off the pitcher card. Not the greatest solution so it sort of pigeon-holes you into using the players how they were used--at least those very few players. There is no real good solution outside of making up a card for those players. For that player you could just use a card that already exists. At that point you're talking about players with < 10 plate appearances. I'm trying to be as precise as possible but also not break the engine 🙂 Thanks again for the thoughts. Not sure if you purchased it but would appreciate hearing what you think if you do/did.
