The options were 3.73’s or 4.10’s. When towing the 4.10’s are great but unloaded the truck turns more RPM’s than I want. I think I have decided on 3.42’s since I don’t tow heavy. That should drop my RPM by right around 500 at 70-75 mph.
I had a similar load the other day in my 01 auto. Mostly rotors, springs, control arms, 4750 at the scrap yard. It rides sooo much better, and having a lower stall tq and better valve body helps a lot.
