I miss when McDonalds would go all out with their Happy Meal toy sets 😂

i love all of these sets that can come together and form one giant playset

There were many different Happy Meal toy promotions for The Jungle Book 2 depending on the region. This is the US promotion, which featured six different characters (Mowgli, Baloo, Shere Khan, Shanti, Lucky, and Kaa) with jungle playsets that could be built separately or together. In most parts of Europe, a set of eight different pieces of a tree were released. They could connect to each other and perform actions when their buttons were pushed. They consisted of Mowgli, Ranjan and a monkey together, Kaa, Hathi Jr., Shanti, Bagheera, Baloo, and Shere Khan. Germany had six plush keychain character heads that made different animal sounds. They consisted of Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Khan, Kaa, Colonel Hathi, and Lucky. The Asian promotion had a set of four wind-up toys, which consisted of Mowgli, Bagheera, Baloo and Ranjan together, and Shanti and Colonel Hathi together. Australia had a particularly interesting promotion, as it had three toys from the Asian promotion (Mowgli, Baloo and Ranjan, and Shanti and Colonel Hathi) and three toys from the European promotion (Bagheera, Ranjan and the Monkey, and Hathi Jr.).

Fun fact: Shere Khan is voiced by Tony Jay in the sequel and George Sanders in the original movie in 1967.

Toys for this film cameoed in the climax of Supersize Me.

I only got like two of these. I wanted the WHOLE collection though. Haha.

Got to love the connecting sets! I think I only had Kaa and Baloo from this set. Definitely miss out if you didn’t get the entire set for maximum creativity

Wild child Mowgli (Osment) has grown fidgety with his life in a rural village. So he sneaks back to the jungle to be with his animal friends, like lovable bear Baloo (Goodman). His disappearance worries his family, so his stepsister, Shanti (Whitman), journeys into the jungle to find him. But all is not well there. his old foe, the fierce tiger Shere Khan (Jay), is out to get him, and he traps them in an ancient temple.
