I saw this play twice in London 7 years ago. I found it truly extraordinary. I had no idea that a play could be so frightening ! The actors were so talented! I hope one day I'll have the chance to see it again.
Saw this 20 years ago in London, and the story STILL terrifies me! It's about to finish in London soon, so I hope to see it one more time. Am watching this in the hope of preparing myself for the horrifying screams, and intense story telling.
I love this play I wish I could see it in London on day I saw The first performance in My county, México with Rafael Perrin and Odiseo Bichir...and Patricia Perrin as the woman in black 🖤
Watch the movie version on TV yesterday and it was terrifying. The scene when the Woman in Black screams remind me of a play I saw in London way back during the late 90's. Surprisingly it was actually the play version of a same title 😁👍🏼
Oh man, you're doing the play version for GCSEs this year? I didn't do it for GCSEs specifically, but during my English class for the year before (same group at my school) we read the book and compared it to the movie, but never touched the play. I didn't get around to watching it (this production specifically) until the pandemic, but the play is easily my favourite version of the three.
Yes . Not sure what the Director had in mind . ? Dreadful stuff. Anyone who came in search of an atmospheric Victorian ghost story must have had 2 nd thoughts. Try the BBC Radio version for comparison .?
Absolutely phenomenal, i loved this! The actors are so talented, the lighting is impeccable, the sound effects always on point and the costumes were really well suited! I really enjoyed this, and it was EXCEPTIONALLY useful for my GCSE in Drama, as I couldn't find any other full showing of this, so well filmed anywhere! Thank you!! Much appreciated!
