@Sleeping actually no. It was the drugs that fucked him up. He was happy in 04 as you can see here, and there was no trace of evil in this dude during 04. You can never know drugs especially meth can fuck up your entire mind
@@yeetusjesus8385 I used to think that too, but his descent was so fast it heavily indicates he was likely just covering his tracks much better when sober. He exhibited a lot of odd behavior all along, all seemingly innocent then. By 2008 he didn't live in reality anymore

Last time they played this song live was apr 2012 and they haven't performed it during lots of shows after that (summer shows and autumn tour). Also, they played this song only 5 or 6 times during 2005-2012. Doesnt look like a goodbye from them.
You know what, even though I don’t remember peak Lostprophets…so do I. If you look at the band’s performances from 2000 to 2006-07, Ian looks happy to be performing, eager to sing well, eager to prove himself to his friends and be the best rock singer he can be….however his 2008-12 performances seem dreadful even in the handful of cases where his singing is still strong (and believe me, it usually isn’t, what with the way his drug problem DESTROYED any semblance of resonance in his voice). In the 2008-12 performances he seems depressed and miserable, like he knows deep down that he fucked up and is consumed by self-loathing-and is also aware of how much his band mates (many of whom he considered his friends before) dislike him. To me, death would be the easy way out for him, for even though he often put on a happy facade, the oppressive misery rises to the surface-you don’t scream out words like “SAVE YOURSELF!!!” or “it’s 4AM and I’M ALONE!!!” with a level of intensity that is nearly comparable to a fight-or-flight response by accident…
Jamie was amazing in this song :) I sometimes get the feeling that Ian actually is able to sing higher than he does live sometimes(so it would be better), but it was still great
