2004 and 2006 ZX10R's, I can't get rid of them? 

Almost 20 years old and they don't even look dated, its very admirable.

I upgraded from a 99 zx9 to a 06 zx10 and I love it the thing. Raw, plenty power and easy to throw left to right. Love it!!

The engine sound from the 04-05 will always be music to ears! I will be buried with my 05 ⚰️

The Widowmaker is the best bike ever. I love my 05.

I've owned dozens of bikes in some 4 decades of riding.... The 2004 ZX-10 is the only standard street bike that, genuinely, 'scared' me. LOVED it!. Your mods are very tasty and fantastic...keep 'em. Wish I hadn't sold mine...

I've got an 05. The Gen 1 10-Spot is like none other. A true weapon. The stock suspension though was way over sprung

04-05 years were always my favorite. I was in high school at the time they were my absolute must have bike. Fast forward now after many bikes I’m ready for one. I saw an 04 in Orange with 8K miles going for $8k I’m seriously thinking about getting it

Both very nice, but the '04 in this beautiful candy thunder blue with BST carbon wheels... ufff she must handle like a dream.

I agree...that 1st gen 10R will likely reach collectable status pretty soon. I've already got a K6 Gixxer 1000, just bought a clean 1998 Yamaha R1 two weeks ago, and may need to add one of these ZX10s as well as a 90s ZX7. I'm old school and still into the analogue bikes where you actually had to know what you were doing to go fast on one. Nice to see a pair of 10s owned by a fellow enthusiast. It's getting harder and harder to find these analogue bikes unless they are completely clapped out unfortunately. Thanks for sharing.

1st generation I had one when they first come out best bike ever

2005 was a brute, that thing would make you take a dirt nap if you were careless with. Had one head shake wobble with it an lesson learned. Respect earned zx10r

I have a blue first gen, just like yours. I was a kid reading the magazines, just in AWE when it came out. As light as a 600, flickable & short wheel base, and like you said nothing but your right wrist to keep you from being thrown off. New bikes may be faster, but the OG Widowmaker can be ruthless if you don’t respect it.

I have a 04 and absolutely love it can't see myself ever selling it

Still riding my 04 Z1000. I know it’s an entirely different beast but I couldn’t have been more thrilled to start riding in this era.

Wow. They look great. I'm a huge 05 fan. I love my 05 and also would never sell it. It's in my house posing as a piece of fine art. : ) It revs my heart just looking at it.

The cool thing about bikes is a lot of sport bikes look better from that 03-08 generation. The 04-08 r1 is the sexiest thing ever to me, way better than the 09+. The 08 blade looks better than the new blade by far. And i ride an 06 gsxr but i want an 05 cause it looks even better to me lol. Plus i prefer cable throttle and an analog riding experience. So these bikes from this gen (03-08) are still great to ride even in the modern day.

Can appreciate the choice of no anodized trinkets on the bikes. Love my 05 with a 08 swingarm also and 102,000 miles and will also never sell.

My 07 has a single side exhaust. Used a 08 down pipe and fitted a can on the end. It fitted straight on.

I can appreciate everything you have done to those beautiful bikes of yours, I my self own a blue 2007 Zx 10r aka “Lightning” and like you I don’t see my self ever getting rid of it My only regret is not modifying it more when I bought it new in 07, I had focus too much on my zx14 at the time,now that I want to modify it more in 2023 I find it hard to find after market parts for it , Only have a heal teck GIpro, Slip on exhaust, K&N filter but it’s been a great bike, still looking new.

True story... I've been riding my '08 since brand new 😈 ( the last of the Ninja's with zero electronic safety aid) The day I bought it... I jokingly said, I'm going to ride it until it's a classic 😬, two more years and it gets its classic bike status 🤣

I personally love them both. I have a 05 that I built from the ground up. Mine is mostly Orem parts with aftermarket plastic but I still love it

Hopefully Years down the line I'll be the one to buy both of these bikes from you at whatever asking price. These are awesome keep them for a long time.

I've been into the 04-05 ZX10R's for a long time and have always seen your bikes pop up on google Images. Two awesome builds with a lot of period correct mods that you can't even get new anymore, hope they treat you well!

Hi Marc, I’ve got a candy thunder blue ZX10R I’ve bought new in 2004. It’s 99% stock apart from the screen and exhaust hanger! I like the mods you have made pretty amazing especially the billet brembo master cylinder. I wondered if you tried this item with the original callipers? I’ve done a similar mileage to you with zero problems unlike other more exotic bikes I have previously owned! ZX10R rocks.

I own a 93 zx7 (10 yrs. Currently) and bought a 06 zx10r. You're right. The 2nd gen zx10r is the last bare bones sport bike. It's a toot to ride! Edit: I'll take both as a pair. They come in pairs, don't they?

I know what ya mean about the mods but we build em for ourselves and put what we want on em no matter what.. Mine is an 05 Track dedicated . I do have a quick change headlight tail light setup i can throw on it.. I dont think id ever sell my 05 it may be the best motorcycle ive ever rode. Just one of those bikes that they got right.. First mod i had no choice to do was get rid of the stock brakes..got pretty scary pulling the brakes and touching the grip with the brake handle . . Massive fade after a few hard laps.. nissin calipers off a 2011 zx14 and a brembo RCS19 master with steel braided lines took care of that issue real nicely and relatively cheap. Full ohlins suspension . Kevlar fuel cell. Full titanium exhaust with a shorty can. BST wheels. Haltech. Power commander.. Yata yata... Wheelies at 100mph with ease . Call me old fashioned but i do NOT like antilock brakes at all . Id consider launch or slide control MAYBE.. I would rather have nothing if ya cant turn it all off.. Most of the new liter bikes have all that crap on em..

Just sold my 2006 gsxr1000 and I'm torn! Really looking at 06-07 zx10r or 07-08 gsxr1000. Kinda inching towards the gsxr because it's lighter and a little quicker at the top end, I do lots of top speed racing. The 04-05 is good but I hear they fall flat after 150mph compared to others. I really want to ride one to see how it really feels!

Sold my 06 a few years back. I miss it everyday. It was amazing bike and I loved the look of it. Currently have a K2 gsxr1000. Awesome bike in its own right but I miss my kawi:(

Every bike I ever owned was bare boned. I am looking at a new GSX S1000. It is going to be a weird step as I am not used to aids. I hope I like it because I really do like being one with the road. Makes you a better rider also if you don't rely on aids.

It's the "WidowMaker" for me... I have the same exhaust setup except I have the 🐞 LadyBird 60mm Core Canister. "Blue Max" is amazing and I would like more information or help you could give to help me take my Gen. 1 to the next level

I've got a 04 just like blue max even the same color and i've been working on it for three months now and it's just really hard to get my hands on any parts for it...wish u were there to help me with it jaja

Stunning. I had a fully built 04-05 Race bike. Will pick up another or an 08-10. Whatever I can find. Currently have a 97 TL1000S and an 02 and 15 R1.

You just need to make sure the pendulum is perfectly straight down when you put the sensor back together. I got done jet on my black 06 and bazaar self mapping on my green 08. Made mapping to race condition amazingly easy.

I’ve got an 07’ ZX6R in the garage. I see no reason to sell it, trade it. Thing is blemish free, 14,000 miles. Unless you know bikes well you wouldn’t know what year it was. Beside it compliments my other Kawasaki which is a 75’ Z1b. 😎

No you are wrong on the 06 the is a sensor under the seat that when you lean over it limits tha hpout put to keep you from hurting your head after you come down from you fall when high side the thing. I used to have a race team. Its is like a pendulum as when you tip the bike over it does limit the out put of the motor. I took mine apart and put silicone down in the cup the pendulum swings in to keep it from limiting the output coming out of a corner. Just so you know.

You've got two really nice Ninjas. I wouldn't sell them either. Kawasaki's are special to me.

Beautiful bikes but, not the last of the no rider aid kwaka. I've got the 3rd gen that was the last of the no aid zx10r. No traction control and no ABS 185hp with 204 with the ram Air effect, stupidly fast and flys past 187mph now the limiter is removed. Prices on you're bikes are now starting to rise in the UK as so many have been written off in accidents.

Beautiful. I've had 3 Gen1's and 2 Gen 3's and have loved them all. I've ridden many K4,5 and 7 and loved them too but not enough to buy one..yet, am considering one today lol.. A bike you may consider similar is the 2013 CBR1000RRSP with its blueprinted engine, Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes and OZ wheels and no electronics, similar to the gen 1m maybe a little softer :-)

What could you buy , to replace them with ,, what does not need a computer to run it ,, I've a low mileage k6gsxr 1000 put ohlins in it and will continue to modify it 😁😁😁😁☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland great video

Hi I got my eye on Kawasaki ZX10r 2005 it has 32,000 km motorcycle all is original. I know the owner and the bike from the first day. He bought the bike new 2006. He’s now in 60s so he would buy vfr 800… This bike has no mods, except steering damper and slip on exhaust. But the price would be 3000€ which I think is fair price. But that bike front forks are how do I say it. Very strange… You have this bike for a long time. What would you recommend for the suspension? I have Yamaha XJR for 20 years now so I know what mods are essential for XJR. I would appreciate your opinion. Should I go for Öhlins front and back ? Which is pretty pricey. Or maybe forks and brakes from newer liter bike ? Thank you !

Bought one special ordered 2004 zx10r 180hp out of the crate no steering dampers or electronics just man and machine pearl blazing orange with muzzy and fresh orange tomahawk tires. Only made for 2 years them were pulled because of the raw power. They don't sell because these so called racers can't even throw a leg over it. Power wheelies all day 3rd up at 85 90 and set down at over 130mph they are too much for the posers that think they could try to play with these special monster's. Fastest bike I have ever been on and what a riot. It revved to the moon truly the last of a dying breed both the bikes and the riders. !!

I share your sentiments about the riders aids that came after these bikes. Just this week I've seen 2 different channels knock 2019/2020 versions of liter bikes for not having a fuel guage and seeing 2021 reviews wtih cruise control and even bluetooth now being available. I understand everyone rides for different reasons but why do they want the experience of a car on a bike?

Never sell those bikes especially the early 00 models, those are going to be classics years down the line and value will even go up cause they will be so hard to find not only that they look more better and solid bikes and they are still timeless looking bikes til this day

Nobody's talking about the four million square foot houses on that estate... where dafuq is this filmed? Also - i'd take the '04. Test rode one when I owned a ZX12R and loved it. Obviously not as torque-y as the 12R and not as punchy, but, the '04. 10R had an amazing throttle response in comparison, it felt elastic if that makes sense? Like you twist the throttle and it isn't an instant kick up the butt, it pulls like a train up to the redline in a weird unsuspecting manner 😕

I sold my 2000 ZX-9R and bought a 2000 RC 51....big mistake. That nasty little brute is on its way out the door and I'm inviting a 2005 ZX-10R to replace it. No more twins - not even close to ripping through the gears on the ZX-7 through 12.

Always going to be the C2 zx10r for me. Is that the stock swing arm modified or a different swing arm. Always thought the chain side let the swing arm down it just looks a bit cheap as standard, and doesn't go with the curved swing arm on tge opposite side.
