Even though you probably sold yours and this was just to put it on eBay, it's a brilliant video. Thanks for uploading. I'm currently considering buying one and this video definitely helped.
Reminds me of the days we had a green Lords Taverners-branded Ford Transit minibus (X reg but the early 2000's model) which had the same type of engine as this LDV. There was also a 54-reg blue LDV. The teachers (or most of them) preferred the Ford Transit. This was at Fitzwaryn School in Wantage. When my class went on a 4-night residential trip to Okehampton back in June 2009 (I was 16 then) from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th there were I think 3 LDV Convoys. There was an S, 51 and 52-plate.The 52-plate was better. The minibus driven to and from Wantage and Okehampton was the X-reg. I'll admit though I've never once been in an LDV or Ford Transit that's broken down. Thanks for sharing 🙂👍!

I have a 55 Plate Convoy one of the last before closure it will do 90 easily not that I do it very often. The previous owner a lady had the ECU tweeked to 120 hpi The sprinter guys are always curious to know what the engine is after being overtaken. Have had a couple pull in when I have stopped further up the road after I have dusted them lol
The very same engine indeed. They are very reliable engines as long as they are serviced regularly and maintained and the gearbox has a few issues with gear cables but otherwise a very good engine
What kind of flaws does the 2004 convoy 90hp have, I have one I enjoy it but it's at 53k Miles bought it 6months ago and have had to change the flywheel and clutch, back brakes, left wheel bearing has been giving a lot of trouble so likely needs a who new hub and axle,.abs etc, the ignition barrel got stuck so that needs to be fixed, the air blew it's fuse and now after replacing only blows out cold so debating if it's a few bits to spend money on and then it will be right or if it will be a money pit 🤔 great for lack of rust to must have been stored indoors any insight greatly appreciated
I've just bought a 2000 LDV Convoy pick up and I find it very slow on a motorway 60 mph downhill 50 mph uphill would you think this is normal or do you think it's a mechanical problem
