Me because today me and my aunt boyfriend son play NBA 2k23 and he had like 40 points ahead of me and I made the greatest comeback and then when I’m came on his level, he like 30 more points and then I made a comeback and he had 10 more points and I come back and the total points were Phoenix Suns 160 the Dallas Mavericks 154 and I fucking WON that shit I was so excited after that, bro I was just making fun of him after the whole day.

defensive games back then didn't seem out of the norm though, it was known San Antonio won championships by playing tough defense the current reigning champions when this game was played was the Pistons (who were a defensive team) The Spurs would win the championship this year, and it was their 3rd championship in 7 years. The Rockets from what I remembered tended to prefer a slower pace to take advantage of having a player like Yao Ming on their team, and using him as a defensive anchor. When I looked it up, it said they allowed the 3rd least amount of opponents points scored against them at 91 ppg.

This was in the prime of TMacs career and one of the most famous NBA players in the world. You would never know it, after (or before) he would train, he would stand around and talk to everyone like a regular person. Although comes off cocky on the court, he was really polite to everyone that approached him.

Hurts so much rewatching this even 18 years later...I think it always be this way whenever someone like a Mcardy does the absolute impossible on my favorite Spurs team in thier prime....those hardcore rocket fan's who didn't leave the arena and stayed until the end sure got rewarded...you could see the look in thier faces, when he kept scoring, the momentum was building up already...think even they knew Tracy was going for it...Ugh.....this totally felt like a Spurs win at the time. I still remember watching it, i even got up to make myself something to eat only to come back and seeing the rockets celebrating?...i was so confused...not sure what was even going on at first. Where they showing highlights from another game? What happened to my Spurs double digit lead?....wtf is going on here?...than I saw the highlights and listen to all thier reactions....than it finally hit me.....Omfg this is....stunning thier going to show this non-stop for all time...what an historic time to be an N.B.A. fan that's why you never stop watching. And if you're there, DON'T LEAVE. HAVE FAITH IN YOUR TEAM.

Give a credit to the follow-up dunk by Yao and that No.35 Guy, the miracle can't be achieved without them

I remember this game. I was in 7th grade and I figured they were going to lose so I went to sleep. I was shocked to hear they won in the morning 😂
