Cluster Fix offers repair service for these clusters that may be experiencing improper fuel gauge readings and / or LED back light illumination that has gone out.
Typical problem is a fuel gauge that will read 1/4 to 1/2 when it is actually out of fuel.

I can confirm these guys do great work. I have a 2006 Altima that had a malfunctioning fuel gauge. I just ignored it and used my trip odometer as a gas gauge, but then I started getting a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT code P0420 (low fuel gauge voltage input). In NYS a car won't pass inspection with that code. I sent my instrument cluster to them and it was returned quickly with no more CHECK ENGINE LIGHT and the gas gauge working fine again. Well worth the money! 👍

Will this work with my 2012 altima? My car will be under half a tank and then my guage will jump to full

Thank you..i just had this problem My 2005 Altima show a half a tank of gas ...the car ran out of gas on the highway..

@@ictrlaltdeleteu I know the feeling..Had to replace the wiriring behind the fuel gauge. But before I got it fix i fill up my tank and use my trip settings to get idea of how much fuel i use. once it two hundred miles i re fill my tank.

Gas gauge said a little under half tank, then ran out of gas. Already replaced fuel pump.

im having the same problem on my infiniti G35 2003 randomly gas light was on E went fill up and it still shows E infact when the cars off then back on it goes to E then orange little dot pops up

MY friends fuel gauge needle went past the full when he filled up and the needle is stuck there, pointing towards the speedometer...

Try placing the cluster into diagnostic mode. Write down, take a photo or mark where the gauge needles go to when in diagnostic mode. You will have to remove the cluster from the dash and disassemble it. With it disassembled place the unit back in diagnostic mode and place that fuel gauge needle to the half full mark.

Yes, that can happen in some cases as well when the problem has been there for awhile.

I have a 2008 Nissan altima. I usually cannot afford much gas but I notice that when I do put gas in, it jumps and lowers all of the time. Let's say the gas gauge is at a quarter of a tank. I put 5 bucks in and it jumps slightly to just above the quarter mark. By the time we drive 2 or 3 miles it goes below the quarter of a tank. Next day, start vehicle back up and its right back slightly above quarter tank. ?????? Is this a sign of a bad gas reading or should I not worry?

Sounds typical of faulty fuel senders in the tank. Cluster problems cause it to read 1/4 - 3/8 of a tank when it is actually out of fuel.
