Thank you!! There was no need to remove the motor that holds the flaps im position. I stopped the car with the climatizer on and they were already open!!
I just went thru the car wash and heard my blower pretty much seize up, I'm not sure if I should replace the blower or resistors. Water definitely got shot inside and fucked it up
@@audid3a8s8diys5 ya I was thinking that, I love my A8 but lately all I do is work on it. I just did my cam shaft chain tensioners and the timing is dead on, cam to cam, and cam to crank, but now I'm getting a bank 1 intake cam over advanced code and cam phase reads -8.0 degrees on VCDS. Timing is dead on, I'm sure of it. Tried swapping HALL cam sensors and still the same reading. I don't know what else could cause this?
@@audid3a8s8diys5 I need your help bro. There's a vacuum line that connects to the bottom of the air box, do you know where the other end connects to? Also there's a vacuum line that connects to the fuel dampener on the drivers side fuel rail, do you know where this one connects to?
@@audid3a8s8diys5 I'm getting secondary air fault codes now, it looks like some of my vacuum lines are broken or missing, the routing is very confusing. Oh and my blower has an intermittent short to ground, and my recirculating flaps say mechanical failure, all from a car wash. 😫😭🤯
