Hey Robert! Thanks for the video. It helped a lot. I got a couple extra tips for people if they run into similar problems that I do. - For the tie rod, you can also hit it directly on the top of the nut to pop it loose. - To get the axle out, I had to use an axle remover and slide hammer. Apparently the pry bar works well for OEM axles, but whoever had the car last had a non-OEM axle. - To pop the new axle in, it was much easier with a rubber mallet Again, great video. I’m not a car guy, so it did take me 6 hours of work (including going back and forth from the store to get more supplies and replace a broken torque wrench), but it’s made me more confident in my ability to do my own car maintenance in the future :)
@@fkngrvn666 I don't have a spark plug video for these but the trick is to use a three inch extension with a universal wobbly attachment and a 5/8 spark plug socket 👍
@@rottdogsparky Good question. It would be a good idea to double check fluid. Just because fluid didn't come out when I removed the axle doesn't mean it doesn't need to be topped off. It could have been low to begin with.
