I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier, it belonged to my Father, he bought brand new. He didn't get to drive it much, he passed in 2015 and I inherited the truck. The only issue is the paint starting to peel off. I love the truck it still looks brand new on the inside. For a 2007 it only has 72,000 miles. I am planning a new paint job soon. 😂
You should replace the radiator if you haven’t already. 07s had an issue of coolant leaking into the transmission cooler since the trans fluid would eat away between the cooler and radiator leading to transmission failure. They fixed the issue after 2010
141,000 carefree miles on my 2011 SV 4x4 king cab automatic until just the other day. Camshaft position sensor went out. It did cause my engine to stall, but I was able to get it started again with some minor side effects (lower engine power and bad fuel economy) so I was not stranded. It was a 30 minute job to replace it and now it runs great again. Other than that, preventative maintenance. VERY reliable truck.
2013 Nissan Frontier Wife bought new in 2013. Currently 270.000 Miles Still runs like the day it was new Never once been in the shop. I installed a 2" ADO Lift with new springs front and rear with Bilstien 5100 Shocks. She burns about 1/2 a quart between oil changes. Other then that she is by far the best new vehicle we have ever purchased. She is now my work truck.
@@gswguy4554 6 cylinder 4x4 sv 4 door crew cab. Truck lives outdoors year round in the Finger Lakes region of NY. We get pounded with snow in the winter. Paint is starting to show signs of wear. However rust is non existent. Frame is still mostly rust free. I sure hope he new 22 does as well It just turned a year old with just shy of 20.000 miles.
@@gswguy4554 The diff being is the Newer 3.8 Motor in your 21 and my Wife's 22 is direct injection. The older D40 V6 in my Gen 2 2005 to 2019 is the 4.0 Port injection. If you are not familiar with the diff do some research on the fragility of Direct injection Motors. I have and get mixed info. Some say the direct injection is bad because of carbon buildup on the valves. The absolute best Frontier for longevity is the 4 banger with a man transmission. However if you take care of the 4.0 Auto They regularly see 300.000 some 400.000 Without engine or tranny failure. My goal; is 300.000 with my 2013. But I am super anal about Mait. Hope this helps. Take care of your Truck and it will take care of you. But def do some research on the Do's and don't of Direct injection motors. If you have not already. PEACE
@jimmyjackass1805 My 2008 Crew Cab 4X4 4.0V6 LWB made it 416,000. Just blew a head gasket last month and I was so sad to not have treated the truck better so it could have made it 500,000. Such a great truck especially since I was pretty rough on it. Currently looking for the exact lower miles truck to replace it. And I've still got mine and will rebuild the motor or swap in a low miles used motor if I can't find another one to buy. The best truck I've ever owned, and I owed a 2001 first gen Tundra 4X4 access cab limited before the Frontier. It was also a great truck but I'd personally take the Frontier over the Tundra.
Loud ticking from engine after oil change...2018 v6 63k miles. I here lighter ticking and a tapping from lower end. Oil has been changed at dealer every 5k or less.
@@raymonster55 i did end up removing the the old one and assing a fuel line hose running to the rear tailate. i even put another breather on at the end of the hose. its now water tight and won't be an issue.
It was the least expensive small truck during most of it's life. That had a lot to do with the sales figures. I still see a lot of frontiers in city, county and state fleets.
@fatharold…. Top seller? Compared to what? Because the Frontier was selling 50,000-80,000 a year and the Tacoma was selling 120,000-200.000 a year. Years 2006-2022. So it was never a top seller. Maybe compared to the Titan?😃 Google can be your friend sometimes.
As a 16 year old looking into getting a truck for my first vehicle this video helped alot, in my state you have to pay for your registration per pound of the vehicle and the frontiers are pretty light and they arent as overpriced as the tacomas. Im definitely considering a frontier i just hope that i fit into it lol
I've owned 2 Frontiers, a 2006 and a 2017, both brand new. The 2006 was an awesome truck that never had any problems, however the 2017 was not as reliable. I have enough annoying issues with it that I sold it in under 2 years. Now I find myself in the position of shopping for a midsize truck and I'm considering a used Frontier because I think it's still the best midsize truck from a value perspective. I'm looking for 2012 or newer with under 100,000 miles, but low mileage trucks under $15k are near impossible to find. Plus used truck prices are absurd these days.
@@rj5822 Brake and electronics issues that Nissan never did resolve. I wound up replacing the front brakes at my own expense and my infotainment system never worked right. It was a lemon. I still think the Frontier is a great truck, but the new one is overpriced and the SV long bed lacks basic features.
I own a very basic 2005 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4x4; I bought with 50.000 miles already; nothing fancy, and the only issue I had to deal with is the Camshaft position sensors; what are really easy to replace, and a sensor inside the gas tank I had to pay to the Nissan dealer to rfix it once. Nothing else than regular maintenance and tires and breaks replacement. The 4x4 traction on this truck is powerful; back in 2012 we had a big snow storm; I turned on the 4x4 and I drove easily up the hills while many other 4x4 vehicles were stuck in the snow. After that I fell in love with my truck; even now it have almost 200.000 miles. If I have to buy a new truck; will be another Nissan Frontier.
Did you have to replace the camshaft position sensors because the truck would randomly cut off while you're driving? My '05 just started doing that and I've read that the camshaft and/or crankshaft position sensors could be the issue. I'm hoping that's the case it's going to be an easy fix
@@psyl3ntkn1ght10 I recommend you to replace the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. There are two in the upper part of the engine (one at the right side and another at the left side) one is located between the engine and the transmission, and you have to remove the front right wheel to reach it, and you have to be careful not to mess up the connectors. Good luck with that!
@@salomonponce8716 I ended up running a diagnostic scan and got the code for the crankshaft sensor so I replaced it a couple days ago and so far so good!
I bought a 2013 extended cab with 108k miles on it. 2.5 ltr 4i, automatic. 25 miles to the gallon on the interstate in Texas, but I drive 68 to 70 mph and accelerate gradually. I really like the functional design. The engine has good compression and it tows as good or better than the 2006 F-150 I had before, but I think the Frontier has 4:10 gears in the rear end, and that would explain how this 4 cylinder tows like the smallest V8 I had.
I've had my 2016 4.0L V6 frontier for about 3.5years I'm not easy on my truck off road put offroad suspension and billistien 5100 shocks on it I regularly maintain the truck only had an issue with my abs speed sensor and intake manifold gaskets other than that it's a wicked offroad vehicle also have it chipped with after market cold air intake and catback exhaust system installed great to work on I have 93,390km on it at the moment original brakes and rotors still has lots of life on it ... I'll be doing an engine swap next year and supercharging it beefing up the suspension and shocks baja style look to it
I just bought a 2012 frontier with just 29,000 miles on it and from the looks of it this thing is in immaculate condition im so happy i didn't go for a 2010 or down to a 05 seems like those have issues. My sister had a 05 Xterra and it had the timing chain issue but the transmission was actually ok ive heard bad things about xterra tranny's but hers did ok. Thanks for the video i feel much better about my purchase now!!
I got a 2014 Nissan frontier with 200,000 miles on it and i had to change out the radiator for the same issue show on the video but thankfully i got it on time and everything else is still running great
I also have a 2014 SV crew cab. I added that auxiliary kit for the trans. I think we will ride this truck to at least 500k before anything major start to show up.
Despite its age I think the 2005-2021 Frontier design has stood the test of time very well and it still looks good next to its modern competition, particularly the exterior. The same can't be said for the early 2000's Tacoma, S10/Colorado, Ranger, etc.
Very informative. Thanks. I've been looking into buying a used 2019 Nissan Frontier. They're hard to find in West Texas. That seems like a sweet year for this truck. Nice looking, old school feel for people looking for practicality over frills at a better price than most other 2019 mid-size pickups sold in the U.S. I wish there were more of them around for sale.
I have a 2017 Frontier , treated me very well, just routine maintenance and replaced my brakes at 75000 km which is pretty good wear for brakes on heavy vehicle. I am really bappy I have the V6 these new vehicles with turbo 4 cyclinders such as Ford are not my cup of tea. The seats yes are a little low quality but a lot more comfortable then a Toyota. I would not hesitate to buy another but boy have the prices gone up, equal to prices of full size in some models, that is not impressive.
I have a 2008 with the 4.0 engine. I recently replaced the intake valve position valve solenoid. Pretty easy and cheap fyi project. I bought it used with 145000 miles. Seats are not comfortable, but has been a great truck.
I have a 2006 4 door 2 wheel drive my service engine soon light comes on and I check the code it's p002 which apparently is not enough ground on oxygen sensor but light comes on and after a few days goes out on its own so it comes and goes drives me nuts any idea why it would be doing that?
Honestly, i bought a used 2019 frontier SL 2wd. Ive had it for about 3 months now. It definitely drives and feels like an older truck. Most new trucks now are cushy. I personally like that it drives like an older truck though. Also driving something that looks like it came out of the mid 2000's is refreshing to me. Its basic in a good way and nothing is complicated. May i mention i worked at a nissan dealership for a few years and i fell in love with them. Its a strong moderately powerful truck and i dont really have anything bad to say other than what he mentioned about the seats lacking support for longer drives. They have small issues but a well maintained frontier will last forever.
I just got 2010 LE crew cab with camper and it’s great condition In Fact excellent with a racking system . I’m concerned about the radiator and transmission because automatic transmission. So I will adjust as soon as I can but in all honesty this too me seems like a really great buy .

This video has very, very weak audio...and, yes, I did try to turn it up. Good trucks don't need design changes. The fact that the design has not changed for X years, should not be held against the Frontier. I've owned a 2WD 4 cyl. Stick shift Frontier since 2014. 77K miles. Turning radius is my only complaint. I use a truck as a truck, not a toy. It's perfect for that.
Coolant mix with transmission only happen in the earlier 2nd gen models a lot of there issues have been fixed another common issue is rear diff breather it couldrust shut on the valve and blow out your rear diff seal, replacing it with after market diff breather is a fix and its a good fix ony second frontier now, lol my first one nothing wrong with it I just totaled it in a accident but very solid truck and underrated and I abused my truck too
Hello I have an 09, that i just got from a family member, the battery light on dash is on, I took it to the auto parts store and the alternator and battery tested good????? I have no idea where to go from there. also, the brake light is on in the dash, the fluid is full .......not sure what else to check thank you for any and all help or suggestions. does/has anyone had the same issues? thanks
2011 crew cab with the v6, 187,000 miles, towed up to a 10,000 pound trailer, no major problems. I'd expect at least 300,000 out of it but wouldn't be surprised if I got 500,000. These trucks just keep running.
Well your intuition is solid. My 2008 Crew Cab 4X4 LWB went 416,000 before it blew a head gasket. And I was pretty hard on the truck. Bought it used in 2013 with 60 thou on the odo and pretty much drove it every day for work and play from that day forward until about a month ago when the gasket failed. Over its life I replaced 2 leaking radiators one at 100 thou and one at 300 thou. Also unfortunately had to replace the rear diff at 300 thou as I never changed the fluid and drove the truck through lots of water crossings over its life as well as towed a decently heavy cargo trailer for work quite often. So I kinda blame myself for that failure. Only tuned it up once at around 250 thou if I remember because it seemed to be running a bit rough. Turns out that was the beginnings of my cat failure which I replaced at 350 thou. Probably due to never replacing those danged O2 sensors which I Never did. Other than that the trucks just had regular brake and suspension repairs. It's been a Great truck. Currently looking for another one just like it with low Mike's to buy and funnily enough still got the truck sitting in my garage with a laughable idea bouncing around in my head about rebuilding the motor myself. Not sure thats going to happen but it still drives and takes about 15 mins before it starts to overheat since it leaks out coolant out the side of the block. Worst case I have some parts for the next truck if need be and maybe I can get the next one I buy to go over 500 thou. 😂
2014. Same blue paint issue in wheel well as pic. Any cheap way to address? Also lost steering wheel buttons and air bag light because of. Had wheel harness cables swapped out. At 90k no other issues. Does idle a little rough.
I bought one (auto, 4 cyl) w/abt 23k miles in 2017 & am just below 100k now. I looked at Toyotas but didn't want to pay that much. Now I wouldn't trade my Frontier for anything else. It's not quick or fancy but it's useful, easy to maintain, & very reliable.
The 2012-2019 v6 4x4 is great! Rear locker. Got 200+k miles on mine. Take the axle vent off the solid rear axle and clean it every other oil change. It will seize and cause seals to leak on the rear axle. All bearings are cut off/press on so with special tools it’s rough. Clean that vent I speak of and you’ll never need to.
This V6 truck was making more power and towing more than a V8 Dodge Dakota back in the days, shows you how advanced this thing was. In my opinion the Frontier is the perfect truck. Legendary reliability and durability, Legendary value, Legendary power, Legendary 4.0 V6. One day i will buy one if God permits this is my dream truck.
It seems Nissan catches a lot of criticism from outside, while actual owners and researchers say nothing but good about them. I've had them for 40 years and had the same D21 since 1995. High value trucks with no nonsense.
What is not to like, well built the 4L V6 more than plenty pulling power, and I get 17 to 18 mpg city and 23 to 24 highway driving 65 to 70 mph. Mine is a 2017 and has 68,000 miles, had to replace rear axle seal and diff vent, other than that no issues. I found out early that it takes a much lighter touch on the throttle than other cars and pickups I have had. I try to ease into the throttle and backoff while approaching a stop so I coast down some of my speed and brake to a stop. This helps milage.
Greetings from Mexico! I own a 2014 pro4x 4x4 and I’m obsessed with it, very reliable, good power and good looks. I’m thinking of purchasing another one more new (2021) just to assure a life time with Nissan Frontier
I've owned my 2013 sv 4x4 crew cab for about 18 months now, and I love it! My only gripe is that the cloth seats material is lousy, and the padding in the driver's seat back is shot. I've upgraded a few things here and there, and it's been really easy to work on so far. I recommend the Frontier to anyone looking for a good value on a used [mid-sized] truck
@@thewestphloe2472I’m trying to find a 2015-2019 with under 90k and they are all going for 22-24k. Probably doesn’t help u too much but they are holding some value
STFU about revamping. It only makes the sticker price skyrocket. Making the same truck over and over saves money. Only mechanical, electrical and safety issues should be corrected. Every manufacturer should have a Low cost basic vehicle available.
I've had my 2015 Frontier since day one. So far only a defective tire air pressure sensor light to date. I haven't even changed that sensor yet as I check the air pressure regularly. Pretty impressed so far as it was my first and only truck.
Purchased my 2015 Frontier brand new....fast-forward 9 years....my Frontier has been such a great truck.....and at 68k miles so far....I am beyond fortunate to have a hassle and payment free truck....for years to come.
I just bought a new 2023 Ford Maverick just bc I wanted something new w better mpg....but things I do miss aboit my 2012 Frontier Pro 4x is that it sits higher and it has that real work truck feel...Im probably going to sell it to n6 dad as he has more use for the 4WD livin on a ranch😅
I have a 2016 which is a great truck. The only issue I have is that when I first start the truck in the morning the 4.0 engine revs to around 1800 rpm and then after a minute it settles down to around 1100 and then a minute or so later is drops again down to around 800 rpm. Most of the time I wait until it drops to the 1100 mark before shifting the tranny into drive and driving away. I'm a little worried that shifting at that rpm will shorten the tranny life. Also, the engine clatters very loudly when very cold. I was told by many owners that this is normal... which is another reason I let it warm up a bit before I drive off.
Usually I would say warm your vehicle up if you live in a cold weather environment. I live in California so i personally dont warm my vehicles up. Truck runs fine to this day.
Great information, I have a 2007 SE model , so far the only problem I have had so far was the gas sending unit I have the 4 L six speed model and I am very pleased with it.
I looked at a 2019 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X (A5) 4x4 Crew Cab 4.75 ft box. With 55,000 kms asking $32,250. I wondered if in 2019 if this trucks price in 2019 was or close to the $32,250 they are asking for it used.
I'm going to buy a used Frontier. I guess I'm coming full circle, my first brand new truck was a 1986 Nissan long bed. This was, I think, the last year before the hard body. Put 120,000 rough city miles on it, often hauling loads heavier than it was rated for. Never a problem. But I hated the bloated look of the hard body and bought one Mitsubishi and then a string of Rangers. Never liked any of them as much as that Nissan.
I have a 2015 that I bought in 2015 with 11k on it now I'm up to 130k it's been totally trouble free except in a couple of places I see the paint flaking away as you described the truck is white I'm disappointed in that because I wax it and take care of it. In Texas it get really hot I don't know if that played a role. I don't drive aggressive, fast or hard. Used nothing but synthetic the whole time and never let the oil get dark. I set out to buy this truck and I'd say I'd buy it again it's quieter than I thought, and has a solid firm feel. I'm 7 yrs in and I do my best to take care of it, being a former mechanic the truck met my expectations.
Outstanding truck! It will last. Especially the way you are taking care of it. I got a 2005 Xterra SE 4x4. Original owner too. 390,xxx miles. Keep it going.
2012 Frontier, with 210,000 miles at present. A camshaft angle sensor failed, ~$300 to have it changed @ 170,000 miles. Steering wheel clock spring failed @ ~ 150,000 miles managed to change myself. Both heater hose plastic connection at firewall went @ 150,000 miles. I changed spark plugs and three of the coil packs under the intake manifold as preventative maintenance at 200,000 miles. I was absolutely amazed how good those sparkplugs looked at 200,000 miles. What next? Rear diff breather replacement?
This was a really accurate video of Nissan Frontiers, including the major issues. I've had my Frontier for almost 15 years and can relate to a lot of this info. Good video!
I've had a 2013 Pro4X in the king cab and now own a 2016 Pro4X in the crew cab. My only complaint about the 2016 is that the rear differential cover wasn't painted properly in the factory and the paint flaked off. Also there's a slight vapor leakage around the differential cover. Nissan wouldn't cover it while it was still under warranty because they said it wasn't technically leaking. When it's time to replace the rear diff fluid, I'll install a new cover. The reason why I own the Pro4X model is because I live in Coconino County, Arizona just outside of Flagstaff and spend quite a bit of time on the trails and forest roads. The truck handles very well in the snow and mud. I just purchased some Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires for the truck. The original Hankook Dynapros lasted 35k miles (note replaced tires due to age and not tread wear). I'm getting about 18-19 mpg on the highway, probably due to being between 7000-8000 feet above sea level. At the lower elevations my fuel economy isn't as good. For anyone out there in the market for a used Frontier, I highly recommend considering this truck.
I bought a new 06 crewcab se 4x, had the timing chain whine issue fixed under warranty around 30,000, did a bypass on the radiator to avoid that mess, and at 90,000 had to replace the fuel tank sending unit. Still on OE brakes at 95000. Other than the turning radius I am very happy with the truck.😀👍
Got a 2012 SV 4x4 King Cab, bought a couple years ago. The Likes: Simple, hardworking truck built to do truck things. Superior seating position to Toyota. The Utilitrac rails and 6' bed let me park with the cool kids as the contractor side of Home Depot/Lowes. Cheap parts. Easy to repair. Easy to clean interior. That's it's now worth a couple grand more than when I bought it. Visibility. With the windows down, the door sill is the perfect height to rest your arm (forgot how much I missed that). No '4x4' or other shopping list stickers on the side of the bed. Can operate every control while wearing work gloves. The Dislikes: Turning radius of a Naval vessel, jiggly ride on rough pavement (or as it's called in New England, pavement), heater and radio lit by a geriatric firefly. 17 mpg no matter how you balloon-foot it. And what nitwit marked the speedometer up to 140 mph???? Just mark it to 100 and make the increments larger. Really wish there was an aftermarket drop-down step to get into the bed.
About the oil pressure: keep in mind that early models (including in the xterra/Pathfinder), they had real time oil pressure switches. I owned both a Frontier and Pathfinder and on my 06 Frontier 6sp it had a constant "dumb" reading on the dash whereas my '05 Pathfinder fluctuates in real time.
With my 2005, I have water leak issues. Nissan didn't make the best weather stripping and they want 1000$ plus to replace all of it. Just a heads up if you live around a rain heavy area
Rubber breaks down over time. You need to maintain it with a good quality rubber conditioner a couple times a year. Do that and it'll last forever. In any case, you definitely can't blame Nissan for 15 year old seals failing since I'm guessing you didn't maintain them.
I bought a frontier recently that had an airbag light on and a tpms light on. All I did was reset the codes with some weird cheat code I found on youtube, and 4 months later they are still off. I even got it for a discounted price because some lights were on! Simple 5 minute fix!
I currently have e a 2017 Nissan frontier pro4x. Only complaint that I have is gas mileage. Averaging 16.8 mpg for a midsized truck that's crappy. Besides that I love the truck and will be keeping it for another 10 plus years. It's simple capable truck.
I had a 2002 model Frontier. I never had any issues with the paint, even though mine was blue. The frame rusted the worst of any vehicle l have ever owned. Rear shocks rusted off twice. It only put me walking one time when the starter gave out. ABS system rusted out early on. The body was just as solid the day I traded it as the day I bought it. My advice is to cover the frame with undercoating ASAP. The last sparkplug was a real !#&* to replace.
Bought new 2013 s model , have yet to have any issues. Sitting at 170k miles. Regular oil changes, replaced serpentine belt ,tires and batteries. And recently changed spark plugs and motor mounts . Had little vibration and running like new again.
I've never had paint problems on my 1989,1993,2005 Nissans, one thing I will say is that im pretty Anal when it came to washing and waxing it and putting on Liquid Glass polish, the liquid polish is amazingly !!! Plus, have the entire frame under coated, along with changing the pumpkin more often than they recommend. Also a tonneau cover will give you some extra mpgs.
I disagree about nissan needing to update the interior. I like a spartan interior on a work truck. Toyota, ford, and GM have all kept their trucks "updated", and a lot of people who love their trucks HATE the shiny sparkly interior on a bare bones work truck. More fancy means more complicated and more expensive to repair. The interchaneability of parts is what made the f- series and the silverados so great back in the day. I like that frontier still keeps it simple.
I have a 2015 Nissan king cab with the 4-cy engine that I bought used. I added a color coordinated cap, visors, side steps, fake leather seat covers, backup camera and Weather Tech floor mats. It has roll up windows. It has 60,000 plus miles and gets an oil change and tire rotation at 5,000 intervals. Other than routine maintenance and annual inspection it has not needed any visits to the dealer or my favorite mechanic. It is my daily driver that I use every day to travel between two warehouses. It is the second Frontiers that I have owned. I sold the first one before it had 200,000 miles on it and was my wife's vehicle and she is still mad a me for getting rid of it. I don't have a problem with the hard plastic interior because it is durable and easy to clean.
I have a 1987 XE king cab. 425,000 miles, no payments, and no complexity is a dream. I see many in the junkyard that could easily be saved with a little maintenance. Very sad because they would outlast the new trucks.
May I recommend everyone look up the "million mile Frontier " on RU-vid? This 2007 was owned by Brian Murphy of Chicago and went a million documented miles on the original powertrain. Nissan rewarded him with a new one and put his in the Nissan museum. Amazing. So much for the myth that Toyota is the only reliable truck. My Hardbody only has 425,000 and I need to catch up.
Code p0101 MAF SENSOR 2013 4.0 litre. Replaced MAF SENSOR Engine light comes back Found both rubber flex tubes down wind of the MAF SENSOR had splits in the rubber. This allowed false air to enter the system. Replaced with after market parts and that took care of the problem.
I have a 2018 bought it used 24000 one year old its been a great truck so far only one oddity sometimes I backup then I go into drive feels like the breaks catch then pops loose dealer extend warranty in writing as happened for there mechanic he pulled breaks and rear-end checked both no one can figure why my truck is doing this. I now have 55000 has not gotten any worse or better , I would like to know if any other Frontier owners have this issue.
ive had a 2000 frontier I bought used several years back from a friend who was worried about the high mileage of 126000,...I saw alot of these trucks still running and road worthy so I knew it was a good deal...paid 1900 dollars...small 4 cylinder 5 speed ...it has been a great little truck after 5 years and over fifty thousand miles..I decided to but a brand new 2021 basic model king cab new 3.8 nine speed automatic 4x4 ....i love the feel of this truck ,it also has great visibility all around...my only comlpaint is the querky jerky 9 speed transmission...if I come to a fast stop it sometimes bangs as it downshifts...Im partial to manuels always have been,,my 09 6cyl. mustang is a 5speed 4.0 which will probably run forever...but back on a good note I like the way you sit high in the cab on the 2021 frontier and can rol down the window and rest my arm in a very comfortable position...time will tell how she holds up...hopefully as good the true blue 2000 frontier i lucked out with....and I will not sell ,its my backup always.. thanks for much for this informative video and good day to all
I just bought a used 2018 Frontier S with 40k miles and a manual transmission. It's about as bare bones as it gets but that what I wanted. I literally laughed when I noticed it still had roll up windows. Even the digital screen still says "iPod". At least it has a backup camera. It's primitive but it does the job. The overall experience reminds me of when I drove an 80's era Mustang well up into the late 90's. Sure it was outdated, but it had lots of charm.
Had an '84 KC, 91 4wd KC, 2005 4wd, Nismo 6 spd,(replaced the tailgate hinges ) Modified the 2005, Volant CAI, with K&N, Throttle body screen delete, Magnaflow exhaust, and now have a 2014 SV CC. Sold the '91 to a friend, it is still running. On the 2005, and 2014 installed Wet Okole seat covers right away.
I live 400 yards from the Atlantic Ocean. I have a 2012 SV V6 4x4. I wash off the undercarriage after every time I go driving on the beach. 144k miles on the clock & everything is good
I’m very impressed with how much more information your able to provide compared to the average car channel on RU-vid. Thank you for these more in-depth videos.
I love my truck, it’s a 2007 crew cab LE but I have a rough idle and I can’t figure it out. I’ve cleaned injectors, replaced fuel pump and a whole lot of sensors, coil packs and plugs and still getting the P0300 code. Now I hear it’s may be a stuck open injector. I love this truck but dang!
My new frontier 2021 at 5039 miles is making noise when I turn usually to the right . Not so much in a gradual turn and not every time but it is worrisome as this is a very new truck
I love my blue 2012 Frontier king cab 2wd 4cyl auto. Only 2 complaints, peeling paint on both front fenders and would prefer manual transmission, but could not find one. Now I hope to buy a used Pro4X 6cyl.
