Just got my 730D 2008 on the road. One of the last E65's before the model change to F01. She has had a full service and now has zero errors via INPA. I am very happy indeed. It's definitely a head-turner when sitting at the lights. Mine has rear TV/DVD so the missus is happy.
Thats a pre facelift E66 with a changed front and back. Its very clear from the engine cover which in 2006 was a 4.0L for 740i and 4.8L for 750i. The engine in this video is a 4.4L from a 745i which only came in pre facelift model. Also to identify a pre facelift E65/66 from a post facelift is to notice the dial knobs for the ac vent controls that came chromed in post facelift models. In this video though they are pre facelift model knobs/dials for the ac vent controls.
I have all Black one!.....2006 750LI......Immaculate condition.....way better than this Silver 745LI....GUARANTEE!!!...Has DVD in back seat....Only 62,000 miles on it!!...Shout at me...if interested!!!....Anthony.....
I'm thinking about buying a E65. It's my dream car and now as an adult I'm able to get it. If I DIY a lot of the issues I know I will face, will it still cost a lot of money to maintain?
Is it possible just to change the factory 1cd player with an aftermarket cd/mp3/usb one ? I don't care if some steering wheel buttons will not function, just want to put a usb stick and listen to my mp3's like on the video. Please share your knowledge !
If you dont take care of it there will be lot of problems. But most can be prevented by good maintenance. Most bmws are Bad because some people just beat them out
A lot of these li’s have a abs module problem these cost you a lot to repair about 200 bux at least I am not having fun with all of these abs things popping up
Lol that's fun mine just popped up like last week when I was driving that is heard that classic BMW chime and it said somthing about ABS module failure or somthing idk but yeah......
The thing is that with the S550, you will spend, at cheapest, $2500 on the suspension for parts alone. The service for 911 requires that the engine be removed from the car. The moral of the story is don't buy a car that you can't afford to repair.
