I have a 2007 ford mustang convertible, and my top will not go down, i had my top only replaced, but then top still wont go down, when i push the the button to lower the top all the side windows go down but the top never goes down any help or info on this?
I have an 07 mustang convertible. top is not working. Wanted to bench test the motor. Wanted to ask about the wiring. I see the red and yellow wire. Guessing one is for up and other is for down. Where is the ground for the motor?
If it's a two wire pump there is no "ground and power". To go down one wire has power and the other has ground. To go up the power and ground is reversed on the same wires.
Great video. I have a 08 and the top, while all the way down, sticks out 1.5in. In other words, it does not go all the way down. Already checked straps and stops. Any idea of what could it be? Took it to have my top replaced since it had the original one, though the problem was that the old one was bunching up, but no, same problem persists. Any thoughts?
