I have the same issue on both fans I checked the fans negative and positive and my fans are working good I changed the relays on the Black box on the right corner of the engine and replace the sensors relay on the bottom of the radiator and haven't had no luck with the fans
Its over a 100 dollars yearly you replace the fan then switch, thermostat, eventually the whole radiator antifreeze plus its so hard to get the thermostat Hondas are junk drove a 2004 Nissan Xterra for over ten years and never had any problems I had a 00 Honda Odyssey leaks everywhere V6 and a 02 CRV leaks and suspension problems sold them already.
lol I have a 06 civic beater with 197k original miles, I think an alternator and starter was changed so far, runs great, no codes on the dash, doesnt leak anything, it's perfect.
