Thanks for the great video! I had the carb pulled, cleaned, and reinstalled in an hour. One helpful tip is using a high E string from a guitar to clean the jets.
Unclogging jets can be done by taking a single wire off a bicycle shifter cable . Just use a pair of pliers and slowly push and turn about a quarter of an inch and it should work its way in . We got ours all the way through and then held the one end of the wire with a vise and the other end of the wire with pliers , then shuttled the jet along the wire back and forth to open it up more (ours was really clogged ) . I dont think the bicycle brake cable will work because it is too thick.
Good job, just FYI those hoses running thru the front bottom are the coolant lines, no big deal though. My Starting Enrichment Valve (the over complicated choke) is toast, ordering a cheap carb off Ebay and will just take the SE valve off the cheap knock off carb from Ebay. $50 for a knock off carb as opposed to buying the SE valve from Honda for $70. Also there is a restrictor plate in some Metro's,on the engine side after the spacer and metal housing that is bolted to the crank case with 2 bolts, take that plate out they say will give you 5 more MPH.
