In this video I replaced my 2005 Nissan Armada's radiator. The radiator has a large crack in the bottom tank.
*The nuts securing the fan clutch to the pulley are 10mm.
*When installing the replacement radiator, do not reconnect the upper radiator hose until the fan shroud is in place.

I have a coolant leak as well and I just discovered it when I added antifreeze. My heater was not working. When I watched this video you were talking about the association between the coolant and the heater so I turned mine on and lo and behold it came on. Good news is that they don't have to replace the heater core, bad news is that I have a coolant leak but the leak is much easier to fix. This video was very helpful 👍👍

Good video ; ) I replaced my 2004 Titan crap factory radiator with an all aluminum one 11 years ago still going strong . Cost about 3 times what a cheap replacement would but it's worth it not having to worry about it anymore ; )

I have been eyeing those aluminum radiators. They are very nice units.

Thanks, very much for sharing all of this installation process, and your thoughts, as you work thru it all... It'd be nice if you had a helper to operate the camera, while you work, with both hands free... Great job!!! I'll be doing this ASAP, on my Titan. [IMHO: You ought to refer to the "radiator (water/glycol) COOLER" as such,... and, not call it a "condenser".... A condenser is part of the A/C system,... and it "condenses" the refrigerant gas, back into a "liquid"....]
@97TRAKIN
@97TRAKIN 3 года назад
Thank you for the comment. I was referring to the condenser as the "condenser". To replace the radiator you are working with three radiant cooling items. The radiator, the transmission air to fluid cooler, and the A/C condenser. Every time I said condenser, I was referring to just that 👍.

How did you remove the fan, I try but it won't stop spinning.
@97TRAKIN
@97TRAKIN 3 года назад
You can use a long screw driver or small pry bar between the nuts. Break the nut(s) free that the screw driver/pry bar isn't blocking but don't remove them completely until all have been broken free. Good luck 👍.

As of 3/1/2021 I see that AA has the one he put in for ~210 USD + tax. Rockauto.com has a Denso one for ~140 USD after tax and shipping (for where I live).

The best solution so that wont crack again.... add a JB weld so that more stronger on that spot on a new radiator so wont crack again

I know I am late, but those trucks the tranny cooler is built in, your coolant went into your transmission. FLUSH YOUR transmission asap at nissan. Pay the money and get the fluid done.
