My grandma (She died last year at a sweet age of 104 years old.) used to record the Oscars every year since 1992 (The "Silence of the Lambs" won Best Picture) until 2004 before she left for good in Melbourne. Unfortunately, I cannot find them. Thank you for the uploader.... brings me great memories especially with this depressing pandemic.
The Polar Express Nominations 24:43 Sound Mixing 28:02 Sound Effects 56:56 Best Original Song Nominations: 3 BONUS 53:16 Believe Performance, Performanced by Beyoncé and Josh Groban.
Thank you for uploading. This ceremony will always be one of my favorites. I watched it at my first Oscar party in NYC. I was expecting the Aviator to win Best Picture but wanted Million Dollar Baby to win, probably the most emotionally engrossing film I ever seen in theaters. And when it won, me and a few friends jumped up hugging each other gleefully as if we won. Great ceremony too. No Bill Conti music, unfortunately (not to use his music for every Oscar ceremony is a crime). But whoever composed for this did a great job, unlike the many who came after Bill Conti and robbed the Academy Awards of their magic.
Do any of those great Bill Conti Oscar tracks have names? I’ve always wondered if you can find them somewhere other than the ceremonies. I agree, without them the Oscars don’t have their magic!
Watching the run through of Sidney Lumet's movies made my emotions run high. So many brilliant actors performing in his movies. I cried when I saw River Phoenix and how he looked up to Sidney Lumet like a father figure.
Best lead actor...? UNquestionably!!!! Should've been Eastwood!!!❤ Nuanced perfection, heightened 2 the apex of his career by the stellar support of Swank!! 👍🥰💫!!!!
I remember it was so embarrassing. The Academy was looking to increase its audience and that's why they didn't allow Jorge Drexler to perform because he was totally unknown. That's why when he wins, he sings a snippet of the song. Even worse with the camera catching the embarrassed faces of Banderas and Santana
@@ayodeledavid3034 yeap....a biographical picture?. But what's your point? I already stated that he made an impersonation of a celebrity. And did it even better in Kanye's Gold Digger. I am talking about acting, have you seen Patton? or Oppenheimer this year = or Steve Jobs -the one with Michael Fassbender....there you have actors acting...... They approached the characters.to their essence--- Foxx just did an imitation of a celebrity...he hasn't acted in a really long time and certainly did not in that overrated awarded gig. .
