2006-2008 Acura TSX Bumper Removal and Morimoto LED Fog Light install

In this video I will be removing the front bumper and replacing the fog lights on a 2006 Acura TSX.
I am replacing the OEM fog lights with a pair of Morimoto XB LED replacement fog lights. These fog lights are plug and play and do not require any additional wiring.

Someone needs to do a clear lens upgrade on those stock projectors and maybe some Osram CBI bulbs in place of the stock bulbs and then the lights will match up a little better to the new fogs. With those lenses, your cutoff line will be much sharper and colorful.

Good job first TSX fog light installation I've ever seen my fog lights are cracked and broken and I am looking for those same ones but I want yellow lenses where can I get them for a good price

Pay for quality. Morimotos retail for $150ish but you can find them for cheaper via eBay or google searching - "Morimoto xb round acura"

I was trying to replace mine but the original fog lights are stuck in the housing cause the screw seems to be too tight or just stuck :/ I’ve been trying to look online to see if anywhere is selling the housing by itself

Acura/Honda does not sell the bracket by itself. Your best bet is to buy a used fog light that comes with it or possibly a salvage yard.

When you ordered the pair from Morimoto did you have to buy the bulb as well? I was about to check out but it suggested that others bought bulbs and the dielectric grease? thank you!

The fog lights are sealed units. The LEDs are internal and cannot be accessed or replaced.

Great video! Would it be possible to do the job without removing the whole bumper but only the under engine cover? and reach them from underneath.

You should be able to do that, but lifting the car and removing that panel will probably take the same amount of time or longer. It normally takes me less than 10 minutes to remove the front bumper.

Hey did you have to cut out the hold in the bumper, so that the first fog lamp could fit.

No, I did not have to cut anything to make it fit. I simply needed to reuse the factory bracket.

@@kadeplummer2974 it sounds like you have a 2004-2005 TSX with the pre-refresh bumper. These lights were designed for the 2006-2008 bumper that all included fog lights.

@@kadeplummer2974 It appears that Honda offered a 2nd bumper then. In the US the bumper with foglights was the only option 2006-2008. We did not have an alternate bumper.

I installed mines but I have a really uneven beam pattern and a black spot light on the ground, do you know how to adjuste these?

Yes it is. I used a relay harness with the light as a just in case precaution. You can buy relay harnesses on ebay or amazon for $10-15 dollars. While they are not necessary, I prefer to damage a 10 dollar harness versus the factory wire harness.
