hello I am having issue with 2007 Aveo Chevy the idle drop when A/C is on and temp is hot outside do you think if i replace Throttle body replacement well fix the problem the RPM on Aveo when on on idle is 3 lines bellow the 1 RPM on gauge. Try some less expensive options first. Test your battery and alternator, or have someone do it for you. Also, clean your throttle body before replacing it.
I've been seeing that replacing the throttle position sensor can solve the issue with a p2135 reading. Is it worth trying that before going with getting a new throttle body?
Cody the throttle position sensor is likely the problem, but the part is integrated into the throttle body, hence replacing the entire piece. I’ve heard some places sell the position sensor separately, but I’m not sure how great those could be as the sensor usually comes pre-calibrated.
Willie Nelson no programming necessary. We went though a couple throttle bodies too, but it’s because they were defective used pulls from the junkyard. Took a few tries but we finally got a good one.
Hey man I’ve been having problems with the throttle body for a while now.. and yesterday My buddy changed both the throttle body and the pedal sensor since We didn’t know which one of the two was the problem but this morning my car bailed on me again and now I have no clue what it could possibly be.. do you think you might know what the problem could be?
Ricardo Davalos check the air hose from the filter box to the throttle body, it’s common for them to break open, which can cause air management issues. Check your plugs/wires/coil too, this car had a broken wire causing a misfire with no engine light.
Hey Man..I've been removing my throttle body,and clean it. But after that I have a problem,when I start the engine in cold ..my rpms revs to 3000..aproximately 1 minutes the rpms goes down to 800..what's problem??🙏🙏
