The inverter coolant pump also does that! Replace it, and replace the 15amp fuse and it shouldnt pop. BONUS: the coolant 3 way valve fails, which will also re-ruin ur new inverter coolant pump. So replace it while ur in there. Dont wanna be stranded on a road trip people!
My wife has a 2014 Prius IV and the battery drained to empty. We called roadside assistance to give her car a jump. The engine started and would idle for 3 or so minutes and then shut off. Also while the car was idling pressing the accelerator pedal had no effect while in neutral. The engine would not rev at all even though I pressed to the floor. Could this be the same problem as described in this video? It seems similar. Thanks for making this video. I will check the fuse in the morning
No you need a new battery that’s it should fix the issue, lots of other issues come up when the 12v battery is dead had a similar issue with mine, let me know if this doesn’t fix it
From experience, once i replaced the 02 sensor - it did not blow. I put the old 02 sensor back on just to see and the fuse blew. So thats one way to check ;-)
my car shut dorn suddenly, no start, no light in the dashboard, i changed the battery for a new one and i read it was the water pump, I checked it and it was damage, I replaced it and also I checked the fuses and it looks good each one, but the car it wont start, any advise?
