2006 BMW E60 M5 Vanos Pump Backlash Setting and Oil Pan Modification 

So worth doing the sump mod on these , some just don't realise how much oil is left in the sump with the standard setup , looks good bud.

Totally doing this, all that gunk builds up in the oil pan pocket probably causing the pump to prematurely fail or clog passages. I’m only at 40k but planning on oil pump o rings, vanos pump refresh and the lines with upgraded rod bearings so I could use the same weight
