What can I say, it's Watkins. Had an absolute blast. This was my best recorded time, but there was one session that I was tracking towards 1:15 but ran into traffic at the boot that missed what I thought was a pretty obvious point by opportunity.
One of the reasons I like the more advanced groups is the track awareness jumps up considerably. Getting point-bys (and by all means, giving them) is an indication that drivers have the awareness and predictability that makes track sessions more enjoyable. Working on lines is important but work on your track awareness if you're in the novice group. Don't make the mistake of waiting for your coach or a flagger to inform you of others on track, work on understanding the immediate environment around you. It'll make you safer and down the road, faster.
