2006 Louisville Cardinals at Rutgers Scarlet Knights November 9 

It was stunning to witness Rutgers go 9-0. Top teams didn't do well in East Piscataway on a Thursday night in this era.

Idk if I'll ever forget this game. Louisville had never been this close to a national championship game and haven't been quite as close since. 8-0 and #3 in the BCS, didn't lose the rest of the season either. Who knows what would've happened if they finished off this win.

If Louisville won this game…who knows how far they could have gone

Easily one of my favorite games of that season, but more importantly, one of the best overall…However, wait until another week and sometime around Bowl season for something better…

William Gay is my second most disliked former Louisville athlete. #1, in a landslide, is Andre McGee...responsible for supplying strippers for the basketball team. Gay blew this game then he ends up playing his NFL career in Pittsburgh and I'm a Bengals fan. I was never meant to like him I guess.
