Great Video, I wanted to add we had a bad blower motor resistor, the slowest speed was out, it resulted in the AC only engaging (and the orange AC button light only coming on) at speed1 (lowest) that did no longer turned on the blower. Any other speed the blower would work but the ECM disengaging the AC pump (orange light at button would turn off). Replacing the Blower resistor fixed the issue!

I just fixed my problem by watching this video. Thank you for saving me hundreds on this repair. Godbless

So why u didn't talk about the ac pressure switch that's also have something to do with the ac compressor clutch

Have a 09 and for some reason my rear fans are on hi all the time. Fan speed is set to low or off no help. Checked all fuses you mentioned. Although you mentioned the 2 -15 amp fuses for rear ac my pathfinder does not have them. Recent problem so I know it’s not because of that. Any advise ?

I have the same truck, everything works fine, AC is very cold but my condenser fan does not work, and i replaced the fan and same issue, so when im stopped in a light AC gets a little warm. Any ideas what can it be please? Thanks

Is one of those black relays on that board actually the ac compressor relay? Can you identify which one and will it pull out for replacement? The compressor has a enough charge that is not the low pressure switch holding out the compressor clutch from engaging. I have checked all the fuses that you have shared both under the hood and inside the glove box. All the fans blow air, the recirc light comes on also. However the green light on the ac switch does not light up nor even with refrigerant will the clutch magnetize or engage. So in the past I have had a bad relay and just to try would switch it out with another from a vehicle just to see if it would engage. If it did then I would go buy a new relay. In this case I do not know if its one of those small black relays on that fuse panel and if so its not labeled. If you know if it can be replaced by pulling it out and which one it is physically would be a great help. Thanks

My 2001 Nissan Xterras Ac compressor kicks on when I press the AC button.. but it stays on… it doesn’t cycle on and off… just stays on… what causes that?

I have the same nissan ... 05 ... I noticed when I turn the defrost on it works fine ... but when I turn the defrost off it feels like a/c is on even tho the readout on the display says A/C off .. if I put fan setting to fan after I turn the defrost off i have the temp setting to 60 which is the lowest ... but it feels like the compressor is still goin and blows out cold air thru the vents ... this happens when i use the defrost ... Should i turn the defrost on ... and check the a/c compressor ... then turn it off and check the compressor again to see if it spins in the front ..? unless its a defrost issue ...

Question.. my mom nissan pathfinder 07 a/c button doeat turn on on 1,3 and 4 but on 2 it comes on.. you think that could be a resistor? And also when I open the hood, the ac line freeze up!

Mine is disengage due to low on freon but in order to recharge I need the compressor to run how do you bypass it

Helpful, but sucks the relay is built in. Any tricks to fix that or do you have to replace the whole relay/ fuse box if AC relay is bad. Thank you.

Bro need help. I have 2011 pathfinder. Whenever I put the car in reverse, the compressor stops working. This happens only when I put the gear in reverse.

Is there a fuse for the vent door acuator? Wife has cold air on driver side, hot air on passenger side. Before ripping apart dash, was hoping maybe just a fuse keeping it from closing? Thnx

I have a 2009 Pathfinder I'm working on. New compressor, no popped fuses. No check engine light or nothing. It's not getting power to the clutch for some reason. I'm about to do a 12 volt cross reference and run a switch inside the car if it keeps acting stupid I'm going to make it work

Ok so my compressor cluth will not kick in all the fuses are good and there is no freon in the unit .when I hook gouges up they jump over to over charged and it want take the freon ,pls help
