People were mad about this but Brian Moorman was a gamer I remember him saying he was honored by the hit because it meant his peers took his athletic ability seriously. Brian was one of our best players for a long time during his career.
And guess what people like me don’t know who tf he is besides this clip. Now for the rest of my life and millions others like me he will be known for this embarrassing moment. Bad decision by mr.moorman 😂
@@LarrySalamander You're right, Sean certainly wasn't a soft MF, personally I wouldn't want the 15yd penalty and automatic first down though, I was complimenting his technique I guess
@@LarrySalamanderSays the dude commenting from his couch Id rather have these guys not lead with their helmet and be able to function when they’re 40. Not to mention it’s just shitty tackling form.
His hit against TO in the air was brutal. TO was a physical specimen like no other, but when Taylor laid that wood on him TO crumpled to the ground and tried to get up a couple seconds later like he was fine, but he was clearly hurt. I'm surprised Taylor didn't shatter an entire side of his ribcage. It wasn't a hit like this, it was an unstoppable force against an immovable object and the unstoppable force won out in a big way. It was a devastating hit.
Same here. I haven't watched the Pro Bowl in years. I checked it out for a few minutes after I got home from work. I changed the channel when I realized it was essentially two hand touch.
Brian Mooreman is even more of badass than Sean Taylor... he got right up and congratulated them. I swear punters and kickers nowadays are tougher than QB’s
@@palletbitch Moorman was fast enough to get away in a real football game....They can't rush a punter in a pro bowl so Sean Taylor was just waiting for him.
Sean Taylor was a ABSOLUTE MONSTER! But I do have to say I respect the hell out of the punter for not only taking that hit, but getting up and congratulating Sean Taylor or the hit
Sean Taylor is a legend. This is one of the cleanest hits I have ever seen in football. Shoulder to the chest, as hard as a hit as this was, it was clean as hell. I'm an Eagles fan, Philly born and bred, but damn I loved Sean Taylor.
Cleanest hits? It was in the pro bowl vs a 150 lb punter. Tragic what happens to Taylor but you obviously never played the game if you think that’s “clean”.
I had, if I remember correctly, Madden 2005, which was his rookie year. Would get him in Franchise mode at like 78 or whatever and in a year or two he'd be 99, ha, they knew.
The thing was, Sean Taylor made plays like this routinely. You didn't even have to wonder who it was, you just saw a blur flying across the screen and some guy get nearly decapitated and you already knew it was Taylor making the hit. Guy only played a few seasons and you could have a 10 minute highlight film of just hits like this one.
Commenting because today was a disgusting embarrassment to the memory of Sean and real football. Also Taylor made a clean hit, even Momon the punter gave him respect for the tackle. They aren't even trying to tackle in the 2022 pro bowl. HORRIBLE!
Damn I would’ve been 14 when this happened. I running home from work to catch the game. My friend came over to watch & asked if he had missed anything. I said na nothing too exciting & immediately after I said that, this happened & I jumped out of my chair yelling “let’s go” lmao.
@@stevenmartin3920 I know he's not passing. The point I was trying to make is that after seeing how soft our league has become, it's refreshing to see a big hit (and this is one of my favorites, personally).
I live in Rome ITALY, and they wonder why our soccer team is so weak, and I respond our best athletes are playing American Football and Basketball.... KaBOOM!!
Sean Taylor was a pretty quiet dude but when he got on the field he came to play no matter what game it was. His plays made an impact and this was the era of the big safeties, you had to have courage to go across the Middle. No receiver wanted to deal with Sean and his full speed hits.
Only pro bowl play i remember...ever Great hit too. Puts his shoulder "through" Moorman's chest and dislodges the ball. Shit, that woulda been legal even in today's NFL. Textbook. RIP 21
