You would need Abrites, www.abritesusa.com and a key.. which you can get off amazon even.. pretty simple.. and maybe a machine to cut the key..

if you buy a car like that CHECK IF THE KEY FIT THE REAR HATCH if not and the battery is flat you have great trouble opening the car ask me how i know .............btw the way to open the car then is to bend out the side window and use the inner doorlatches to open the door and hope you got a switch under the dash to open the rearhatch after the batterie is charged

Hello sir! I own Smart fortwo 2006 and the battery is dead. The key in the rear hatch fits in but it does not work. How can I open it now? thanks in advance!

@@iQ0VER200 had that happen once , since then i check if the rearhatch lock works and replace the locks if they dont , it isnt worth the hassle not being able to get in the car any other way you still can get in by prying open a side window from the top (best way is to use a little airpillow or a wide object that spreads the load amongs the glass edhe as that prevent the glass from shattering ) then go in with a metal rod and try to open one of the doors with the handle on the inside ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NVZ7wS3dqBU.html like this with the difference being that a smart fortwo window doesnt have a metal surround so you be prying stright in the glass edge if you have roadside assistance , they usually have the tools to open the car for you in the above way , and if things shatter they likely insured to repair the damage done to the car

Hi there, I have a question, got a Mercedes E350 2011 from a towing company, the car is missing the EIS and the key, any suggestion on how to program these ? I was thinking to get a used EIS, key and ECU from ebay then virginize and personalize TCU, ISM and instrument cluster, any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I would pull the ME, or ECU and read the data, it will give you the key hash data, then I would read the cluster and get the SSID from it, or if you have a key, read the key and get the SSID, then I would get a used EIS, and read the data and password from it, virginize it, then personalize it, when it asks you for a file, use the file from the ME, it will ask you for the SSID, put that in, then when it asks for the key password, use the one you read from the used EIS.... read coding, save the file, then write coding, when it asks for a file, use the one you just saved, and put your VIN in.. The key password is only in the EIS,, the other modules only have the key hash's.. This is only my opinion, that and 5 bucks will get you a mocha at starbucks, but it is a lot easier to build the data for the EIS than it is to virginize and personalize all the other modules.... THE ONLY ISSUE IS, AND THIS WOULD BE THE SAME IF YOU DID IT THE OTHER WAY, THIS CAR CAN NOT GO BACK TO THE DEALER FOR A KEY IN THE FUTURE..... I try and hammer that home to people, but most don't listen....

@@timtracy9442 Well my friend, they should appreciate your opinion at Starbucks and give you the mocha for free LOL, very helpful answer for sure, is there a way to communicate directly with you so we don't have to bother the community with my issues ?, next two questions are: do you have the ability to do it for me (probably yes) and if I have an EIS with out key, will you be able to program a key for it first then follow with the rest of the process ? The tools I have are FVDI and Mercedes C3, I'm pretty sure they won't be enough that's why previous question was if you can do it for me. Regards

@@pedron6740 my email is tim@tracylockandkey.com I think you can read the data and key password with FVDI, if so, then try and virginize it, once it is virgin, try adapting with Xentry... Not sure if FVDI will let you as you have to have an online connection with Abrites, and usually Xentry wants you to log in with any DAS adaptations, but it's worth a try..

So much miss information... With linshi you can actually decode the lock. No need to drill. No you do not have to keep it in reverse, actually it is not advised as that is extra tension on the actuator and clutch plate and in time a already weak part will fail. I know because I been fixing them for almost a decade in Romania. That is Europe dear US viewers.
