I got one of these with 2 12” kicker comp r’s and my back window raddles along with a lot of the other stuff in the back of the truck, did you ever experience any of this?
I am getting my custom AK Audio box installed today. 3 12" kickers. I'm hella excited. do you have any issues with the rear view mirror not staying in place? with the factory system thats in my avalanche right now it tends to droop down a bit. and I'm just curious if you have to constantly adjust that mirror to stay in place.
Chris Constantine i am currently NOT, but i im gonna run a auxiliary battery in the extra compartment, under the hood, in together with an isolator... Which i also recommend!!!
What did you use to hook up the pioneer stereo? I want to buy the same one for the same reason the detachable option but do I need to buy anything else or is plug and play?

Yeah I got jl 2 12inch tw3s in stealthbox with jl hd 750 amp. Not too happy. Heard the factory head unit doesnt allot bass to go up but either way not happy n not sure if I ever will be shallow subs because I've always had regular subs ringing my ears and cars next to me. Alot ot money spent for ok sound. Like really good stock speakers almost. I also never had foward facing speakers. I have the midgate stealthbox. My question is should I sell stealthbox/subs and lose some money (who cares) and have a custom ported box built with regular size 12 inch subs and keep JL amp? And if I decide to do that or not will a line out converter actually make a difference? The bose factory head unit I heard fucks everything up n keeps bass weak. I'm at a crossroads and dont know what to do. Sell box and get custom box or try to make my box better and spend more money. I like that I can fold down the midgate but realistically if I had custom box and wanted to move it I could just unscrew 2 bolts and unplug 2 wires and take it out. 3 months of bullshit dealing and thinking about this. From bad installers to bad signal/weak bass/switched equipment/different installers ect ect ect. For the almost 3 grand I spent I'd expect to at the very least have my body shaking. Idk
DOME KNOCKA Im going to be honest ive seen that stealthbox, and it was or probably still is for 1000+bucks, im staright, i love my sounds, i cant really speak on bose system, because my truck wasnt equipped with it... the only thing i can tell you about my set up, is that i will be upgrading my 6.5 on the door panels to some high end focal... my SUBS HIT, and i mean HIT HARD!!!
DOME KNOCKA Yeah i spend roughly 650 on just the box with shipping and handling, got it shipped from ATL to CA-LA... i do lose the privilege of some space in the back bed, and this box is way too heavy to be removing back and forth to be loading the back bed...
