That's not my issue but I decided to watch it just to see your explanation as I have done it before.. I really like the way you ended that because anyone with enough common sense should be able to put it back together or figure it out after that. Your a good teacher and obviously have good skills.
Have a P0358 code and trac light on. Wouldn't start. Replaced Crankshaft Position Sensor that I bought on Amazon because it was cheap and now it starts and running good but can't clear the code. Bought another Sensor from Autozone and tried it and it wouldn't start. Put the Amazon one back in and it runs but still can't clear code. Well I can clear it but comes right back. Do you think the Amazon Sensor could be bad even though it runs ok but still has the P0358 code? Thinking of buying one from O'Reilly. 😅
This video is the crankshaft. That sensor is on the right (passenger side) on the motor. You have multiple camshaft sensors but only one crankshaft. I never had to mess with the camshaft sensors.
So did your P0348 code clear once you installed the new crankshaft sensor? I am having the P0348 code come up after installing new timing chain and tensioners, everything is timed right, truck starts, I changed out all the 5 CPS's and it still comes up, so I am wondering if it is crankshaft related?
TRANSMISSION REBUILT AT 120K LOST 1ST GEAR STARTED OUT ON SECOND GEAR. I HAD JUST CHANGED THE FLUID A COUPLE MONTHS PRIOR. OLD FLUID WAS NOT DIRTY. TRANS MAN SAID YOU NEED TO KEEP THE FLUID CLEAN. CHANGE EVERY 30K FOR VALVE BODY SAKE. HOPE THAT HELPS.
@@dico_5.0 it had no codes. Issue is the truck will suddenly shut off while idle. So a mechanic suggested it MAY be the CKP. Now a few years ago I did see this code that’s related to this sensor so I figured the mechanic has a good idea. So I replaced it using a new sensor from Toyota. It now doesn’t turn ON. Does the computer need to learn this new sensor?
