I had a similar problem with spark on front cylinder but none in the rear. Took all the plastic off and went through most of these steps. In the end it turned out to be dirty connectors on the ignition coil for the rear cylinder. I had previously spent hours dicking around trying to get it running. Thanks for the video, I was minutes away from rolling it into the yard and setting it on fire.
nice video men. I am having a similar problem. Sometimes the electric ignition and headlights don't work on my brute. Dash light works and brake light too. Today i tap the igniter and it firep up immediately. The solutions to this problem was to reset the belt light.

Hi, appreciate your video. We have the exact problem, we are getting one spark and nothing after that. Our parameters: Coils: 0.1 ohms Vehicle down: 0.07 ohms Crank sensor: 435 ohms Peak did not even go to 1 volt AC Any feedback is appreciated Thanks
Hey there! Hope youre still around and can comment a suggestion. My 07 has 0.000 resistance with my multimeter on the coil connectors. Has one spark on rear and weak sparks on front cyl.. thoughts? Edit: new to me bike, has dyna cdi installed.
Hey men i have a question. I checked all that you listed on the video everything is fine. The atv start but only run on back cilynder. I am really thinking my CDI is passing out..
it ran on one cylinder?. hmmmm, my ignitior would not even do that. maybe move the plug, then wire,then coil. that will show you if the problem goes to the front cylinder
New igniter didn't work, thats shitty. You will have to go through your wiring harness and make sure there is no breaks in the wires.. Can you confirm you get voltage at the coils? These Brutes can sometimes be a devil to fix.
If you are referring to the buss connecters in the wiring harness holder brutes need to be taken apart and soldered together there are RU-vid videos for this if you have not done it should be a square connecter wrapped up tape from factory in the harness. It can give you all sorts of electrical gremlins
