I have been a Captiva owner from 2021 - I make 8 Kms each gasoline liter, mostly of the time bellow 2000 rpms and no deep acceleration procedures. - The gearbox is not very reliable because the engine produce a lot heat (3.2 lts. V6) so make sure the not over heating the engine. In my case I have not been in presence of problems of any kinds, my gearbox and engine and totally fine (137000 Kms). - At most every SUV, the rear suspension need to be verifed several kms. - I preffer a "more reliable" car to be honest. I am thinking to buy another daily car and use the Captiva once in a while. - It is so confort and has a lot of internal space. - About the pricing and maintainance (I am from Venezuela, latin america), the changes and parts are expensive, so try a more "commercial" vehicule in your countrty, Toyota, Honda, for example, but if you have the "money" and good engineers that help with refactions, go ahead, is up to you. 👋

if you like GM, this car will do, if you don't have enough comfort, try the Opel Antara

​@@magicautopro From wikipedia, this car is based on Daewoo (GMC have some relation with them), so you will be driving a Daewoo car with a Chevrolet logo. The engine and the gearbox I am not sure if they are Chevy technology, but seems to me that it doesn't, the gearbox it s a common CVT.
