It’s intercooled & has a Japanese-made supercharger. Its listed horsepower was 330 bhp but, as it was the same unit used in the Mercedes c320 amg, which was 349 bhp. In fact, the enhanced air-intake features of the Chrysler engineers means the SRT6 can handle 370-380 bhp. Very good torque figures too. This car additionally had upgraded brakes & suspension. The epitome of the ‘sleeper’ car. A future classic & a historical testament to the sadly ill-fated DaimlerChrysler collaboration. This car is based on the Mercedes SLK platform, was built in Germany by AMG & Karmen & uses a majority of Mercedes parts with the styling & engineering by the SRT (Street Racing Technology) division of Chrysler.
