Thanks a million for this video! I just did this last night after watching your video and it really helped a lot. The tips on getting the window free from the white clips were especially helpful. That was a pain! Showing exactly how you disconnected the door handle and lock and things like that would've been extra helpful, but I really appreciate you sharing this. Saved me a lot of frustration and money!

Excellent Video! I really liked the blend of demonstration and advice. The hardest part for me was removing the glass from the sliders but your advice made it much easier. Probably took me 2 hours from start to finish, but would have taken much longer without this video.

+MotorCity Mechanic When you took the plastic latches out of the window holes did you have the window all the way down or 1/2 way up? all the way? Im going to be doing my friends car just looking for all the info i can get.

slipnslide83 Evening....when you say plastic latches out of the window holes.....are you talking about where the glass mounts/attaches to the window regulator or the actual door latch?

Kind of a difficult guide to follow got someone trying to do this for the first time. Regardless it helped out a lot while doing this for the first time. Got stuck I think 3 times but I referenced the video and it guided me through, thanks man! Really helped me out and saved me money. (Not time though haha, spent 2 hours doing this)

Wish I could have had more time with the vehicle and not being rushed so that I could cover more items and get more detailed with the repair. Some of these older videos were filmed while customers were waiting. I am still glad that it covered enough items to help get the job done. Time spent is money saved for sure. Liked and now am a subscriber. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I initially tried doing this with just an ALLDATA manual. That was close to useless. Your vid and tips made the job easy! Was able to replace it by myself. Thanks again!

Thanks for your video. I was able to replace the regulator in about one hour with the help of a friend, this was necessary to help me release and take out the glass. ;)

dosent show how you get the window loose from the track when the windows all the way down , tried to pick it up but only came up a couple inches , you just reached in and yanked it out so it must have been already unhooked and mine is a convertable and has extra wires , sucks

The volume is horrible on this video and I am having a hard time understanding what information is being given even with the volume maxed out. It seems as though the project is only half done since this is only the removal and I don't see a link to an installation of a new one...

The passenger side window of my 1999 Chrysler Cirrus will go down but not up and someone accidentally opened it up and I was finally able to get the window back all the way up by piecing information from all of various videos but now I'm having issues trying to get the door panel back on correctly. This part of the project should be the easiest but leave it to this car to be the most difficult. Anyway, I was hoping to find a good, clear, informative video of how to get the door panel reinstalled making sure to get all of the bits and pieces together correctly. Any suggestions of where I can find such a thing? I've never removed a door panel before so I'm really hoping for a video that really 'dumbs it down' for me...

Sorry.....its an older video. I have since improved on the quality. The 2008 is pretty much the same car so I would assume it would word for it as well.

If you have stubborn plastic tabs? take a soldering iron with a throw away tip and lightly braise the tab useless...eazy peazy this is usefull when you going solo, han...bwahahhaha gotta have a sense of humor these days!!!

How do you remove the drivers door panel if the door will not open from inside or out?

Well thats going to be an issue and there is no good way to tell you how. If the latch is jammed then your looking at damaging the door panel to try to get to the latch and then trying to free up or take the latch apart by cutting it in sections if need be. Its basicaly a worse case scenario. Trying to get the seat out might help to get you room and then you may not be able to access any of the outer fasteners for the door panel and that requires breaking the panel. As I mentioned...there is no easy way or non-destructive way to do this.

How can you tell if its the window regulator or the motor?

what you usually notice is that if the regulator is the problem, you will hear the motor still working and a sound much like a trash compactor lol. the regulator will break and the cables are being pulled/pushed and making a lot types of noise. if you no noise heard then possibly the window motor. you would need to more the door panel and check for power and ground at the window motor when you press the window switch up or down. if no movement and power and ground is present at the power window motor connector then you can try gently tapping on the motor with a hammer to get it to free up and then you know for sure the motor is bad.

There will be some differences being the difference in years from 2007 and 2010. I dont have a video on that year model. I will have to see if I get another one in....if they are very similar or not.
