The 56th Miss USA pageant, was held at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on March 23, 2007, after two weeks of events and preliminary competition. The winner of the pageant was Rachel Smith, of Tennessee. #MissUSA #MissUSA2007
The Tara Conner story led me to look her up. She turned her whole life around. TED talk and regularly goes to schools to talk to children about drugs, using her experience to save children from her path. What an inspiring story. Trump made the right decision there. He literally saved her life.
A wonderful Miss USA year. This is my favorite and most impressive Miss USA contest with 2004, 2008 and 2009. Beautiful stage, hot Miss Tennessee and Rhode Island, excellent top 15.
I was friends and a college classmate of Miss Massachusetts Despina Delios. When I worked in the Massachusetts State House, I walked her around as Miss Massachusetts for a Greek Independence Day Celebration.
Siempre amaré a Rachel Smith. Yo no tenía favoritas ni nada pues conocí a las chicas en la final. Y cuando la vi quedé flechado. Ya en Miss Universo es otra historía.
The delivery of the answer even in interview rounds little bit too cocky she answered well and had a beautiful face and body but something off with the attitude
Virginia and Texas are beautiful. Both should’ve made top 5. Still confused how they were left out in exchange for Kansas. California also did not shine very much. Confused. As stunning as Nevada was, her gown was not good and she seemed confused during the entire pageant. If based on performance only, she shouldn’t have made it either. Rhode Island.. cute but not considered pageant beautiful imo. Tennessee really had no competition going into the top 5 (after Virginia and Texas were eliminated). She was leading the entire night and her stage presence is amazing.
Agree, Rachel was leads above everyone else in that top 5. Had the rest of the top 10 Missouri, Texas, Virginia, Hawaii and Utah entered, it would of been a dog fight
@@jacob-ni6jr agree Jacob! Rachel would’ve likely won even if Virginia and Texas made it but the top 5 would’ve been more facially strong. Can’t foresee the judges forgoing Rachel in the top 5 (unless she bombed her final question like SC Teen USA 2017). Nevertheless, Virginia and Texas were underscored in the finals (actually the majority of the ladies were).
I still wish Tim Vincent would replace Steve Harvey, the worst host ever for Miss Universe. MU is an international pageant & Tim is an perfect host for such an event. However, if hes' unavailable I'd like to see John Kelley, host of "Funny you should ask". John is classy & his delivery is so on point. Please, say that steve Harvey, has completed his contracual obligation.
Hawaii kinda looks like Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2014 MJ Lastimosa. I love Donald Trump for this one. atleast we all know that even if most people hate him, what he did to Tara is just amazing.
I love Kansas answer. It was quite strong and straight to the point where I almost had the same reaction with Vanessa Lachey. nonetheless it was great.
that is reality. wondered how come she was not first runner up with that answer alone. I realized she was not the front runner. Rhode island also answered strong.
That year had the strongest swimsuit performance in Miss USA history, then it started going downhill... These girls are walking in the swimsuit competition as if they on a Miss Universe stage.
I can't believed Utah didn't made Top-5. Anyways congrats to Tennessee (very beautiful & hot red dress) 😍 and the current miss USA Tara Connor is also wearing a red dress.. #RedAllTheWay
Well kansas had the best and frank answer to the q and a, the judges were already decided that tennessee would win. Kansas should have been 1st runner up honestly.
of 15 semi-finalists...these would had been My Top 10 1. Tennessee 2. Michigan 3. Wisconsin 4. Louisiana 5. California 6. Hawaii 7. Nevada 8. Missouri 9. Kansas 10.Texas 11.Utah 12.S.Carolina 13. Rhode Island 14. virginia 15. N.Carolina
My results according To Questions , Swimsuit and Evening Gown Winner - Tennessee 1st runner up - Kansas 2nd runner up - Rhode Island ( Excellent Top 3 ) 3rd runner up - California 4th Runner up - Nevada ( Nevada Didn't deserve to be in Top 5 )
Miss Tennessee was a beautiful winner. All the women who made the top five was well deserved. I was glad Hawaii and Missouri did not make it to the top five. They had the worst gowns ever. Miss Missouri's gown was quite inappropriate. Hint; the back of her gown. Truly wrong. Hate Miss Missouri's gown.
Rachel , you slew the competetion in the swimsuit comp. The only girl who scored in the 9s'& on eof two in the evenibg gown.Rachel you really had no competition.
She did not stop for last pose and televised score to show, but judges already score her, so that's include because she is in top 5 score in evening gown.
@@lbee8158 yeah. I wish he had sold the pageant without any scandal. I have always thought that he no longer saw any profit in being Miss Universe owner, and that is why he did everything he did in the end. I wish he had sold MU to IMG/Endeavor without making racist statements.
3 girls that I thought were super hot were Virginia, Missouri and Texas. They all deserved top 5 at least as well as Utah. I felt like Rachel was the only one worth of a top 5 that was actually in the top 5. I also thought Hawaii was great
Here’s a few comments: Rachel is the second best Miss USA after Shandi in the 2000s. But Kansas and Rhode Island gave a good fight esp Kansas. I really love Cara and her answer on the final question but whoever styled her hair clearly doesn’t want her to win. California didn’t deserve her placement. Nevada was okay but very bland. Most of the gowns were ugly particularly Missouri hahaha wtf is she wearing?
Sorry, but I disagree with miss Kentucky. Eveyone deserves second chance in life, sometimes someone needs more chances. They must show it obviously. Anyway,i respect her thoughts
