@@justinturner4067 Thanks Justin, yes I regretted selling as soon as it rode off down the road! great looking bike, with plenty of power, just a very refined muscle bike that offers amazing value 😁

Such a chunky bike that works well if you’re sub 5,11” - being much taller myself I couldn’t get on with it. Had mine for a bout a month and got shot of it. Plus - all that muscle going through the thinnest, narrow bars.....just couldn’t get on with it! But I absolutely love the look of these so when that lotto win comes in I’ll get one for my personal showroom! Glad to see another fine video dude! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I tend to agree, I'm around 5.11 too, and so many bikes just look stupid under me! the T120 Bonneville and the BMW R9T are 2 other I love the look of, but feel a bit silly under me. but TBH I did like the feel of this One :)

My son had 2 of them, a 2003 and then a 2007 (which I've owned since 2008). He was 6'4", I'm 5'11". He fitted OK, as do I. My bike is the same colour but I've fitted a bikini fairing.

I recently bought a GSX 1400 after seeing your video and I love it so thanks for that. For what it's worth I'd keep hold of this XJR for the colour and condition as much as anything else. Enjoy.

I bought one 18 years ago and still having it. Great bike. Don't intend to sell it - ever. Think you have got yours cheap and price will only go up by time. It's in extremely good condition - not so common. And that bike can run forever - mine does for 18 years and 120 k km. And it's still in perfect condition.

I have the same 2007 bike same colour, 19k MLS, same condition. I'm 6ft tall and fitted renthal bars and custom (very comfortable) seat. I could be tempted to sell it for the right price.... Acceleration is awesome by the way, and I'm a sports bike rider

You WILL regret selling this. The XJR1300 is a sought after bike, especially in good condition. They're a classic and the EU imposed import restrictions on this type of bike. Japan still gets to have its muscle bikes but Europe is no longer allowed to have them. Keep it.

A nice muscle bike. It always was. :) They say that it is more comfortable than the CB1300. I never tried it.
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes

I would say the CB1300 is more planted on the road, and turns in really well, but the XJR is truely a bargain Muscle Bike.... that will always make you smile 🙂

Any thoughts on injection vs. carbs?
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes 4 месяца назад
Well injection is more effective, and less maintanance, easier to fix issues generally without pulling the whole bike apart.

@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes

I did think about it, but as it's a stock bike I didn't think anyone would be hat interested? plus the other review on the XJR300 I did do a start up, so as I said, I wasn't sure there was a need this time. And I have been considering the S1000r fora LONG time, but it's a pretty small bike, and I'm BIG fella, when I tested them out a few Years ago, it felt tiny under me! but if I can find One at the right price, I will certainly be reviewing it :)

As mentioned in the video, this wasn't necessarily a "Review" more a revisit, as we did a review a couple of Years back, this is more about what a great bike this is for the money, and my thoughts on it.

@vicpnut1
@vicpnut1 Год назад
Wait …I don’t understand. You say you don’t like the vibrations……of a balanced inline 4, but prefer V or triple….that’s counterintuitive or an almost oxymoron . Inline 4’s being smooth and v’s and triples being very rattly to the point of feeling them an hr after it’s in the garage
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes Год назад
It's a totally different vibration on an on-line 4 engine though, a V-Twin will have a much lower rumble (vibration) and that I like, an in-line 4 tends to have much higher vibrations, in other words if I were to spend 5 hours on a Motorway riding a bike, I would much rather not have high vibes, the S1000XR from BMW is a perfect example pretty much every review on the bike states it's almost unbearable at Motorway speed due to the vibration issues, you wouldn't get that on the same size V-Twin. The Triple is a kind of compromise between the 2, and that's one of the reasons I love them!
@vicpnut1
@vicpnut1 Год назад
@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes wow , can’t speak for bmw, and not to bE argumentative either ….in past I had a sportster 1200 and if I rode for more than 30 mins on a highway my hands would seriously go numb and I’d feel the vibrations for long after…where any of my inline 4 engined bikes : 1981 Kawasaki csr650, 1982 Yamaha maxim 750, 1983 Suzuki gs850, 198? Kawasaki 750 , and now 2009 Yamaha fz1 ( that I haven’t really rode the fz1 yet as I just got it in December) all were ridden many hrs at a time and as soon as I got off the bike it was over….no numbness , no phantom vibration feelings …. I mean I get it I think.. I loved ripping through gears on my evo1200 sporty too, but I could never say that the V was more tolerable vibration-wise lol …to each his own ,and all that .plus most of my bikes were older ,maybe was different then?

@@vicpnut1 I can't say much for Harley Davidson as I've never owned one. But I did test ride a 2012 Fat Bob and it felt like a tractor! Not like an Italian V- Twin at all 😉
