Removing the radio from a 2008 Focus due to a ground fault. The dash face had to be removed. I'll try to do other videos as I find more cars to work on.

Have the same car and my auxiliary port is cutting in and out when my phone is plugged in listening to music. Im going to replace the power outlet panel. Im guessing I would need to do this to replace it?

2008 focus. Radio display is out but comes on sporadically. All controls work all the time. It's just that the display is off most of the time. Any suggestions on remedy?
Hey man, thanks for the video. I hope you are still around. I have a question about the a problem I have on my 2008 Focus. My problem is that the radio works, but I cannot control it using the dash face. That is to say, the radio works in whichever mode it is set to (Aux, FM, AM, etc.) but I cannot control the volume, nor change the station, nor turn the radio off. None of the buttons work. But SOMETIMES, and I haven't been able to tell when, the controls work again for a while, and I can use the radio as normal. Has only happened twice in the 4 weeks I've had this car. I don't know why it happens. The way I can tell if I can control the radio is when I turn on my headlights, if the backlight of the radio controls light up, then I know the controls are operational. Do you think it is related to that connection you mention at 4:00? About the connection going to the radio face?
hey I'm sorry i never saw this, i would definitely start with checking the fuse. that connection can definitely be the issue but in general start at the fuse because it's the easiest thing to check
Hey buddy, I'm having that same problem right now. Changed fuses and still nothing. No power to radio or display and now my 2 charging ports are dead. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
