Aye same! started april 23. Some bozo mechanic tore my engine apart with those codes and im 6.8 k out, one lawsuit in and still with transmission problems. My mechanic is leaning to an issue with TCM but had to send me somewhere else for proper testing. Any of yall figure it out?
Yes it did, but 6 months later I found 2 bare spots on lead wires to this sensor that appeared to be arcing, and that may have also been the cause of this. When I installed this new part, it may have just moved the bare copper wires apart lol
I can only refer to what was with the car. If you need a replacement I'd suggest looking for an aftermarket part that has a new bolt included. You could also match the threads to a bolt at a hardware store, but that could cause other issues like overtightening, or metal expansion issues.
For a bad speed sensor you'll see the speedometer "wiggle" or it will go to zero for a short moment when you're at highway speed. OR it just will stay at zero.
It did not when I removed it, but the vehicle had sat all night and cooled. Was the vehicle still warm? Transmission fluid expands when warm causing the fluid level to be higher.
dont think so. this part he replaced is in the transmission, transmission speed sensor. the ones that control ABS, are the wheel speed sensors. they are near the wheels.
Yes it can, but it can also be the abs wheel speed sensors causing it. Funny enough, I have a hole in my exhaust and my 02 sensor causing it to go into limp mode also
