@EminenceBalla24 Kit 69-6544TS showed an increase of 6.73 HP and 6.87 lbft of torque @ 5100 RPM on the 2.0L model. We do not have dyno sheets at this time on the 2.4L, but should be greater than the 2.0L results.

This system does eliminate the factory intake tube. The K&N intake will connect directly to the throttle body.

@Rsspower53 This kit will fit any 2009-2010 2.0L or 2.4L Lancer non-turbo. This is a short ram style intake system. You can drive 50,000-100,000 miles until you need to service the filter on this kit, or when dirt meets or exceeds the wire mesh.

The correct kit for your application is 69-6540TP or 69-6540TB; depending on the color you want.

Lol, you probably have it already installed onto your car, but if not, I've noticed an increase on torque, but not drastic, just noticable. If you give it WOT at around 2,000~2,500 RPM's, it sounds like a boxer engine with it growling, lol. (This is my brothers car that i've installed it on, but even though i'm a subie guy, I still fell in love with his Mitsubishi) The cockpit does get extremely loud at WOT, and can be CLEARLY heard from outside. Installation was fairly simple and short/quick.

@carldashuffler This kit is a Short Ram style, not Cold Air style. You will still use the fresh air intake scoop with this kit.

I would recommend checking with your local Mitsubishi dealer to see if you have the EGR tube. They will look this up by your VIN. Let me know if you do.

@carldashuffler The actual intake air temperature will not differ as you think. You will always pull the temperature as the ambient air temperature.

And to the gas mileage question, I havn't really paid attention to the mileage, but i've heard that it does increase your mileage ever-so slighty. Amazon does sell these intakes for about 50% off, and at first, I thought it was too good to be true, but i got it for around $260, plus shipping.

And instead of paying $250+ for a "cold air intake system" for the 2012-2014 lancer you can cut off the airbox 3 inches before the MAF sensor and clamp a filter on to it for 70$ and it will do the exact same thing.

I dont know where i am supposed to connect the bracket in my car. I have a 2011 lancer gts cvt. I notice that the MAF cable is sitting on top of my radiator hose because i dont have that bracket on.

When you say "the result for this intake is about 7 HP" are you refering to the 2.0 or the 2.4 L engine? I own a 2.4L CVT Lancer GTS. I saw this video and I'm hooked, but before I buy I wanted to have this clarified. Some competitors claim that they gain 11HP for a similar product. Do you also have the Torque dyno measurement too? Thanks for your help! :)

this a short ram intake (SRI) system right ? coz when i checked the website with the kit #69-6544TS it doesnt really say its an SRI but rather cold air intake (CAI), also does it matter if the car is an se or gts model? and how often do you have to do maintenance on it?

Can you specify what the differences may be? The cars are virtually the same as far as I know besides small things like tail lights, gauges etc.. Lots of other kits say 08-09, but some say 08-11. Just wondering if you could clarify? Thanks

hi guys can someone help! just bought one of these and installing it on my lancer es 2009 2.0L but am stuck at stage 18 from the Instruction manual where it says if my car has an ERG tube unclip the engine wiring harness, I can't figure out how to do this! and I can't figure out if my car has an ERGtube! does the lancer es 2009 2.0L have an erg tube an if yes how do I unhook that wiring?

CAI is a waste of time. Only modification, no tune your wasting your money. Just going to get a more audio sound from intake. This is a economy tuned engine. If you want a good guide look at what the lancer evo and how they tweaked it

if a lancer owner really wants to gain acceleration and fuel milage get rid of that fucking 60 pound battery and replace it with another one half its size or buy an AGM battery. You will save just as much weight as changing your hood out to carbon fibre for 1/10 the cost.
