Very very reliable? I recently bought a 2008 m sport 550i and after 2 days it had a bad valve gasket leak with smoke and oil everywhere and has been at the shop for over a month. It’s still there. I needed to buy tons of new parts. Valve covers, eccentric timing sensors, gaskets, spark plug tubes, etc etc. I swear when I get it back it better be as reliable as everyone’s claiming they are 🤔
@@AImighty damn that sucks. Check my video out on my 08 BMW 550i I bought it and the mechanics sold it to me with a leaky valley pan gasket and two bad knock sensors I did all the service myself and was refunded for parts but mine has been running better than ever now. Just have to clean my steering angle sensor
@@AImighty if it’s just a valve cover gasket leak that should have been done within 1 day maybe 2 tops. Why the hell have they had it for over a month??? Get your car back!!
@@startingtech3900 The shop I took it too dragged so much ass like crazy because they only have 2 mechanics and they have tons of cars come in a day and they don’t normally do jobs like mine. It was an odd situation, I was driving and my 550 started smoking like crazy so I took it to the nearest shop and they offered to fix it only because one of the mechanics knows how to work on BMW’s because he has a 335i. It took so long because instead of them charging me for parts, they’re only charging me labor so I had to get all the parts they needed. Which is pretty honest and fair because most shops screw you with parts they order + labor. So a week or 2 of waiting was me having to order parts and waiting for them to be delivered. It was a lot. But I’m saving money. Should be done this coming week and it’s straight to the exhaust shop.
Great video, a whole lot of details. However: The car isn't a "real" M-sport. It has the m-sport aerodynamic package (exterior package), but the steering wheel is a "regular" sport wheel, not an m-sport. And it doesn't have m-sport door sills. And like someone else said, it doesn't feature a logic 7 system, as it doesn't have any speakers in the rear door.
Hello, my name is Edward, and I am Dominican, that car is my dream car and I would like to have that car. If I had the opportunity to buy that car, I would buy it. I really love that car.
You'll get it just stay focused and keep grinding my man it will come eventually, sometimes the source of income that you currently have isn't enough, in some cases you will have to brighten your horizons and branch out by having more then just one source of income , you'll get it
You say 2008? Then Where is the Paddle Shifters How about the SPORT Button by shifter?? Changing bumpers and rims Is Corny and deceptive. THE Car is Clean you got NO NEED TO LIE about it. IN 2008 550i SPORTS PACKAGE had these features Along With Many other like bmws active Suspension a more responsive gas pedal and tuned transmission activated by Sports Button by shifter ALSO IN 08 there’s no M Package Only Sports package as far as the aero kit performance features and rims
From what I read it typically is a once every 100,000 mile repair. That’s not a ton to spend over such a huge interval for such a nice car with near E39 M5 performance. I run so many cars in my stable that it’d take me decades to accumulate 100k on one car. 😂
@@easyfix6405 Awwww! Your cute! You like the bangle butt? No shit head i drive a Infiniti punk ass! Waaay more reliable than a benz and bimmer put together👍😂
