This lovely old faithful has served us well for some time now and will be doing the honours of conveying me to my sons 's graduation up in Scotland next week :)
Apart from providing me with a very comfortable journey and great fuel economy It will give me an opportunity to say goodbye and when I get back it will be checked over and prepped like all Skywood's cars and then listed on AutoTrader for re-homing.
Sure I will have tipped it over 100k on that unbustable 2 Litre diesel engine but barring a mishap I would lay money that it will be ready for a remake at 200k, such is my faith in this particular design :)
The best bit is it will get there easily straight on one tank of fuel, no range anxiety or need to hunt down somewhere to plug it in!
How much longer before one of our daft government's wakes up to the fact that they are suffering badly from Emperor's New Clothes Syndrome and there are far better options to EV.
