My 2007 hyundai has 198,000 on it. Runs great. I was told to put on the switch for my brake lights. The bulbs work but they don't light up when I push on brakes. I didn't know this affected the shifter. My shifter would get stuck in reverse and I'd have to muscle it.
Liked the video. Thanks Juan! In the event it is not the brake light switch, do you have a video on replacing or diagnosing the shift interlock solenoid?
Would this cause parking lights to turn on and not turn off even when the engine dead? My Hyundai Veracruz 08 parking lights came on by themselves. I had to pull the fuse to turn them off now the brake lights won’t come on and today he won’t shift out of park into reverse.
@@juancarlospena5530 I had the esc light on before the only way to turn it off is restart the car and after 2 week my the car having problem with shifting, I fixed the brake light switch and all the problem gone for 3 years know
I Appreciate the video. Simple and cheap fix for what initially seems like a bigger problem. Check out "Hyundai Veracruz Team" on Facebook. We welcome and support anything Veracruz and Hyundai 3.8L related! Thanks.
