This 2008 Low Mileage Mercedes-Benz C Class 1.8 C180 Kompressor SE 4dr is a great family car, it's in excellent condition inside and out and is finished in Fire Opal with Grey Cloth Upholstery. The 7 spoke alloy wheels are in great condition and the tyres all have plenty of tread. Specification includes a 5 Speed Automatic Gearbox, Cruise Control/Speed Limiter, Bluetooth Handsfree, Auto Air Conditioning and Height and Reach Adjustable Multi-Function Steering Wheel.

I used to work for a Benz dealership (Sytner Carlisle) and the W204 felt like it was better quality in terms of interior materials and fit/finish. The W205 seems a step backwards when you feel some of the materials inside, e.g. black gloss scratchic centre console. Also the iPad like tablet in the middle is a complete afterthought!

"Cars are getting too complicated". Spot on. I think it's all about marketing and trying to sell new cars with lots of techy stuff that people don't really need but sounds good. Just more stuff to go out of date or go wrong. Cars with too much of the latest high technology actually put me off. I like to keep things fairly simple in a car and I think there are too many distractions and gadgets in cars nowadays and that must impact on road safety.

Never seen a Lexus LS broken down. My dad had one for 21 years and never broke down. Was an excellent car with a buttery smooth V8 engine.

@@aaronwatt7838 Mercedes-Benz is a mainly a status symbol. It's more about image driving a Mercedes-Benz. There are better made cars and a Mercedes-Benz C or E Class feels like any other Japnaese car inside. There are so many plastics and use fake leather.

@@aaronwatt7838 I have worked in Mercedes-Benz and have owned them. From experience, I haven't found a Mercedes-Benz to be a money pit. I owned a 2000 year E Class, E220 cdi for ten years and only the alternator went on it, which is reasonable. It was a good solid car. My sister owned a year 2015 C200, that too was very reliable. The high performance AMG models are expensive to own. My father had an LS400, in the twenty one years he owned it, he had to replace an alternator and tge digital display faded. The Lexus was a fabulous car. I drive a 2015 Toyota Yaris and it has been super reliable. The car was recalled for an electrical fault and Toyota replaced the whole wiring loom in the car. I feel so valued as a customer everyone I visit the dealership. I'm now eyeing up on my neighbour's 2012 Jaguar XFS 3.0d with only 46k mls on the clock with a full Jaguar service history. It has amazing interior covered in cream sumptuous leather and it looks gorgeous. It's exactly an interior I can see myself spending many miles in.

@@aaronwatt7838 Jaguar have made massive strides in the past ten years to improve their reputation of reliability. My neighbour has never had a mechanical issue. Parts in the UK are much cheaper than their German rivals and more plentiful too should anything break. I love tge interiors of Jags. They about leather and wood. Cars are built with more soul and passion than most Germans and I love tge styling of the XF.

@@aaronwatt7838 Many of the points I do agree with you and the Japanese cars are solid built. I love the XF Jag's styling, always admire it when I see one. Because of the Jags reputation, like you mentioned, they depreciate much more than their German rivals. To buy one used is much cheaper and parts are more widely available in the UK. Tge parts are also cheaper compared other European brands. I believe it's worth the chance if the price is right. I want to own one for a few years and see what the experience is like. Like I've mentioned, I love the Jag XF styling and leather interiors.

@@aaronwatt7838 That's the XF mate. The Portfolio S is the one I want, with the leather dashboard, soft nappa leather seats, Meridian surround sound and heated and cooled seats.

Had one of these 1.8 supercharger 2003. Best drift car but 15 litre per 100km which is even worse than my ml350 petrol

Damn that's the most base model avaible 🤣🤣 -no leather seats ( or half lether half clothe ) - no parking sensors -no heated seats - no sunroof - the speedometer is a base model (not very usual for this model) -no folding mirrors - small navi unit ( therefore no Haman Cardon speakers, no 6 CD , no map navigator) Luckily it is has an automatic gearbox 🤣🤣🙌🙌
