Check engine or service engine soon? My service engine soon light is on. Sometimes my air works. Sometimes it doesn’t.. had the compressor replaced about year ago…wonder if my relay is going bad?
1:15 I have a wire jumping from the right 15A fuze to the blank spot directly to the right of it. I wiggle the wire and the AC started working....what's that wire activation?
Extremely well spoken, you have a natural talent at being thorough and well understood, I tested both the low and high side valves for pressure by pushing on the valve with a pin, and literally no pressure on both on them (Engine was off), do you think it's just out of freon or possibly a leak somewhere in the system?
I bought my 07 Altima couple days ago and fixed the cylinder misfire, when I tried to use the ac it blows hot air, I checked the pressure with a gauge from a Freon bottle and it was overfilled, I released some Freon to bring it back down to filled points but my ac compressor is still not kicked on, checked all fuses and it’s good, anything else I can rule out before diving into replacing the compressor?
this helped because i was looking everywhere for the dang relay but obviously this car doesnt have one for us to check etc...i didnt know about the chrck engine light disabling it too....great more issues to deal with LOL
I'm trying to kick start my ac clutch to add some refrigerant. I've had cars that had relays that could be bypassed to engage the clutch. You say this replay isn't serviceable. I pulled the bank and there are holes on the back. If I knew which ones were for the relay I could by pass them. Do you happen to know which pins I'd use to jump the relay? If not, would I have to remove all the refrigerant from the system and pull a vacuum to put the refrigerant in? Thanks!

I have a 2012 Altima…sometimes my air kicks on and works. Sometimes it doesn’t…had the condenser replaced about a year ago and now it’s acting up again….fuses good and I was wondering about the relay. But now I see the relay is built in to the fuse box. Any way to check that and see if it’s good ?
My 08 altima ac cold air comes on and goes off, when on it's proper cold when off it's regular fan air. The mechanic said last season that it's a loose wire, any idea?
Great video, thank you so much for posting. I have a 2004 Altima that keeps blowing the 10 amp AC fuse. The blower works, but I'm only getting hot air. I had this problem before replacing the compressor, but the fuse still blows with the new compressor. The feon is fine. Any idea what would cause the fuse to blow when I turn on the AC?
@@geeess958 Yes I did. I replaced the relay and that fixed the problem for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then the fuse blew again. I noticed the protective insulation around the wiring harness that runs from front to back closest to the alternator came off (it was old and brittle). Same problem with the insulation around the wire bringing power from the alternator to the compressor came off as well. That wire runs directly on top of the alternator. I replaced the insulation on both and that solved the problem. My guess is the wires heating up when the engine got hot caused the problem. It was a wild ass guess, but it worked.
I just had my alternator and battery replaced. And now my ac has went out. I think this may be my problem as well. The Ac just gradually stopped blowing through the vents within a few days.
What about a 2015 altima the fan motor inside car is not blowing.it did but when she got off work it did not.her boyfriend replaced blower motor and ac control manual panel still notging.hes folliwing what his friends tell him with no succession.im their pops.ur help be appreciated.ty

Hello I have an A/C issue with my 2010 Altima. Compressor clutch stays engaged all the time and the A/C does not cool down enough, just very little bit. There is A/C gas inside. I can not find the A/C compressor relay. Have any idea I can check and fix?
@@nathancollins5822 My mechanic filled up the freon with the big machine and my a/c works good now. Before this, when I checked the low side pressure with the single gauge that comes with the freon for free, it showed okay. But I guess the high side was low that I could not check. However my clutch stays engaged all the time when my a/c is on and nobody knows if it should stay engaged or cycle. If you have a 2010 altima, please let me know if yours stays engaged or cycle after you filled up the freon and when the a/c is on. Thx
This is awesome, but like other person has mentioned, if everything else is good how do we get the compressor to turn on, i haven't had AC for 5 years would really like to get it fixed this summer
You must inject 12V to the compressor wire. If you do it from the connector, inject both (ground and 12V), if the compressor works, you should hear a click.
I have a g37 my ac isn’t working or atleast isnt receiving power , it works when connected directly from the battery i added Freon and it worked the problem is it doesn’t work by itself like it should be I don’t know why it isn’t receiving power and I also don’t know where the ac relay is in the fuse box
as i reading online to add freon with kit the clutch need to engage , on my altima it is not engaging and the A/C button inside is not getting light when i click. Tomorrow i will look at the inside fuse you showed here , i already looked at the fuse under the hood and it was good. if all fuse are good , how can i add the freon if the clutch refuse to engage , should i like bypass the connector with a wire from the battery or maybe the freon will enter a little bit enough for it to start working ? hope you can help me thanks

I wish there was a simple solution to fix AC in a car. I know nothing about cars. And I'm doing so much research trying to know how to fix my air conditioning without spending a buttload of money going to a mechanic. I know my condenser is not turning on because I usually hear a click in my RPMs jump up. I was able to manually spin my condenser it's not locked up. I'm hoping all I have to do is replace the relay fuse or maybe just needs freon. I have a 2006 Nissan Altima. My service light has been an issue since I got the car it will turn on for a couple months then turn off for a couple months. I went to NAPA Auto parts to use their computer but when I plugged it in it just kept saying error it wouldn't read correctly. I live in my car and I need to get this fixed before summer comes. I hope somebody can help me
