watching this again makes me happy and sad. I'm happy to remember how magic that season was for Tech, but sad thinking of Coach Leach, his passing, and the way the administration treated him and how something we thought would last for years came crashing down 13 months later.
A line that could protect. Receivers that knew how to sit in zones and/or get separation, a QB who knew how to throw accurately and made smart reads, and a coach that showed real emotion and told like it was. Not the BS, ‘good ole boy’ shite we have now.
If only Mike leach didn’t get fired. We were getting the recruits. Our bench got depth. Now the program is a joke with half ass interest from students and alumni because we’re back to getting the recruits that the other schools passed on. Zero depth.
