I was just going to say that as well! However, there's the little evil in me, and listening that engine's sound does makes me to worry a bit. There's some kind of rattle which is connected to engine rev. Probably timing belt tensioner on it's last leg! I'd advise you to have it checked in a dealership!
Maybe the mic's receiving something different sound. All right then! :) Are you satisfied with the 2.7? It is my dream car, and I'm curious if the 2.7 is enough, or is the 3.6 a mandatory engine :) I know both of them more or less on the mechanical side. Thanks for the answer! :)
I think that the 2.7 should have a bit more power. I would not call it really underpowered but with its 190hp for a 2ton+ vehicle, its not a fast car. However, it does have a decent fuel economy for such a large vehicle. About 9L/100km, depending on your driving style. And the engine itself proves to be rather solid. The car in the video approaches now 270.000km, without any issues on the engine side. So the engine is probably good for 300.000+ km, which is quite a lot for a Range Rover. So the 2.7 is probably the most reliable engine for the L320. Hence, I do recommend it, but it depends on how much you drive, etc. But always remember: its a Range Rover. Everthing brakes at some point and it gets a lot of weird noises and electronical issues, air suspension problems, etc. You should only get it if you have a cheap workshop at hand or can do it yourself..
Haven't seen a POV video of the L320 yet! Awesome! If you have this wehicle still, would you make a highway cruise video? Would be awesome (curious about the wind and engine noises at that speed - 130km/h). Huge thumbs up!
