If you see this comment I appreciate the video it helped me with my car I didn’t know what to do with the muffler and cause my pipping setup looks weird underneath…, an mad respect for replying to more then half of your reply’s, good luck in the future with ur car 🙏🏼
The shop made this one go to like a 45 straight to the tip cutout, however I had it done again on another 2.5i and they made it go left first and then it came back and it sounds a bit better i think.
These cars have 170hp, so even if it did make any kind of difference, which I don't think it did, it was still slow haha and it's still way better then how it was, makes the car way better to drive in my opinion! still having a blast with this setup
@@kennanast7670 it sounds good you lost back pressure is the only problems but your totally right with the 170hp part i mean shiii not all cars gotta be fast
Just curious, what trim impreza is that? I have a 2.5i and when I got it, the front bumper was a bit banged up and Ive been wanting a new one. And the bumper you have looks awesome
I work at a dealership and just had one of these come in on trade today. I'm just curious on what type of problems you've ran into with it? It's black and would look great next to my black 11 WRX lol
This one had around 213k kms on it, it ran great with no problems but I only drove it for about 5 months before i got T boned): I ended up buying another one with 134k kms on it and i've driven that one for about a year now with no problems. Pretty sure the NAs are way more reliable but it's really luck of the draw as with most cars.
@@kennanast7670 Good to hear, I know the engines between my wrx and this Impreza are different but I've heard nothing but good things about imprezas. My coworker let me bash his without hesitation and sure the two are different beasts but I sure enjoyed the Impreza. The 11 Impreza hatch I'm looking at currently sits at 221,767km so I feel like it's got a lot of life left in it. When I find out what they're asking for it at my shop tomorrow, I'll probably just buy it and ditch my civic
@@thatblackwrx they’re reliable cars overall. I own both an 09 WRX and an 11 2.5i Impreza. The WRX has almost 180,000 miles and it’s running good, my Impreza has 77,000. The Impreza engines are definitely more reliable, even though the WRX engines are good if you take extra care of them. I have another friend who beats the living hell out of his 08 2.5i with 170,000 miles on it (rally driving) and he’s never run into anything more serious than a power steering pump.
@@loganc2046 It usually just depends on the shop on pricing. Though I do have to admit, this does seem quite pricey compared to what I've seen and done before. My initial muffler delete was just $40, but I wanted them to pipe it back to the rear and I picked out a nice tip. So the work on my '12 Impreza Hatch ended up being about $150 in total. Seeing as my pricing is around what most shops will do, it does seem that this shop is quite pricey.
@@countlesskicks5671 it was just a cold day you morons (sorry I just laughed when I read this cause it dont work that way) lol. The catalytic converters would keep any liquids from the motor from coming back especially oil.
