In this video, I show how to build a new front bumper for a 2008 to 2011 Ford Ranger. I replace the bumper on my 2008 Ford Ranger XL. When I purchased the truck, it had bumper damage.
The bumper consists of 5 parts:
1. Bumper (actual metal bumper between frame rails)
2. Bumper Cover
3. Bumper Valance
4. Driver side Bumper Absorber
5. Passenger Side Bumper Absorber

Awesome job man thanks so much for posting this video. This is exactly what I needed. One of our company trucks was crashed and they tossed the old bumper into the trash so I had no idea how one of these would be assembled. You saved my but lol

After reviewing the price for these replacement parts, I think I'll just get an aftermarket 'winch' bumper for about $400. Thanks for your video though.

What about the filler pieces between the bumper and header panel?

There is non on 06 to 2011 that I am aware off. The bumper and header panel are completely independent. I know the F150 have a valiance strip between the bumper and grill, but not aware of the Rangers having one.

i have a 2011 ranger im thinking of replacing my front bumper do you have a link of what parts i need to replace the upper and lower bumper and a link for the clips you used for this video .ive replaced the header panel.thank you this was very helpful .

2011 has tge same parts. If you look at the video description, you will see the link. You can buy the fasteners at autozone. They sell a Ford kit.

I provided a link to the generic box of clips I used. The Ford clips box at Autozone has everything you need, but is expensive
