In the last few years I found that many 4x4ers have trouble with there fuel tanks not venting as they should making it hard on the fuel tank having a back pressure or vacuum in there tanks, with the type of tank we have now it making a problem, the tank will crack this is the way I fixed my tank , I cut a small rubber hose and put a T peace in it and run a small plastic hose up in side with a fuel filter from a chain saw to stop dust from getting in. I works great and I not had the old problem now for 2 years.
